If you have bad credit, these guys might help. If you have good credit, you can take care of SSN identity theft yourself. You don't need them. All you need is an affidavit from the Federal Trade Commission and put three free fraud alerts on your SSN at the respective bureaus. The fraud alerts last up to 7 years. Most are 90 days but you can continue to renew as long as you want. They will even send you free credit reports every three months as long as you have a police report. You just have to be proactive. Yes it's a hassle every couple of months if you actually have things that pop up. You will most likely have to work with either the bureaus and/or the institution affected by the theft...
