Very good doctor, not so good staff
Dr. Kovats is an osteopath. From past experience, osteopaths are usually very good clinicians and diagnosticians and Dr. Kovats is no exception. He correctly diagnosed my osteoporosis, a condition which was missed on two separate occasions by an orthopaedist at the Jewett Clinic. Dr. Kovats also correctly diagnosed a friend of my parents. This patient had kidney cancer, and although this sounds odd, Dr. Kovats noticed a change in her voice (coupled with bloodwork, I think) that led him to believe that she had kidney cancer, which she did.
