Reliable and Effective
Every time I've visited Peachtree Bikes, the employees have always been superbly helpful. Even when juggling a full back of the shop (lots of bikes under work), their friendliness makes up for occasionally needing to come back the next day. But working near by as I do, it's not a problem. So, take that as another testament - they have loyal client base, among which I count myself. Flexible, patient, and understanding, they worked with me when I wanted to evaluate my options before buying, helped me learn about bike maintenance (e.g. how to change a tire, when to replace brakes) as I made purchases to get a used bike up and running well. Highly recommend!
Great bike shop.
I recently visited intown bicycles for a repair and other service needs. Fantastic, friendly staff and good inventory of products. Great location also with free parking in the back. I highly recommend.
Great Fitting Service For a Road Racer
I am a Cat 3 racer with tens of thousands of miles under my belt and went to Podium for a bicycle fit. The fitting began by filling out a form: describing any issues and complaints that I have, my goals and the type of riding that I do. Andy lowered my saddle and moved me forward. He also adjusted my cleats. In addition he instructed me on how to properly position myself on the bicycle and on the proper pedal stroke technique. Andy noticed the amount of rocking side to side I did on the bike. He knew exactly what was wrong and silenced the rocking motion by making various adjustments. I felt noticeable relief immediately after the fit was done and simply felt more comfortable...
Serious customer service AND know how
First went to PB for convenience. Keep returning because they know how to treat my road bike and me. Courteous and knowledgable staff, and Mike and Elexa Wagaman are very engaged in the community. I'm sold.
Great all around!
I'm relatively new to the world of biking, but after visiting OB, I found that a LBS is like your mechanic or doctor--you want someone who knows what they're doing (bc you don't!), takes time to explain, and treats everyone with gold quality service, beginners and pros alike. I needed a sturdy but inexpensive bike to get around the area, and a few Craigslist searches and $50 later, I was the proud owner of a hybrid. OB staff were very kind! Their service made me feel like my bike was the same as the shiny new ones in their store, 15X the value! In addition to the one fix I knew about, they did a thorough 'physical' and fixed a few other things as well, all after explaining and asking me...
