Good place to adopt a dog
Staff is very courteous and helpful. Good variety of adoptable dogs and cats. Nice shaded areas to walk one of their dogs before committing to adopting one.
They do so much for the community. They help with spay/neuter with low income people and they save dogs and cats. You get a pet that is fully vetted and microchipped and well cared for. Job well done, FCHS!
As Compassionate As They Come
Georgia Humane is by far the best rescue group that I've ever adopted a pet from or volunteered with. The volunteers come together as a team to help place as many homeless pets as possible. The president and founder, Michelle Humphries, has the biggest heart and will reach out and help every animal that she can. You can't go wrong adopting from GA Humane or volunteering with them.
An adoption center closeby
Has many fundraisers for the animals that they receive, and has a good turnover. In this respect they do a great job. However, the reviews for their animals are not always accurate. The descriptions are not always true. Not the best for customer service and needs some lessons..Glad to hear "Lady" found a new owner. She was a pretty dog.
my bestest friends
I have adopted 2 dogs (both have passed now - the most recent 2 weeks ago) and they have been the bestest, most loving (children) that one could want. All they want is a home to feel safe, oh-so-loved, and very spoiled. In return they give their love back to you 100-fold over.
