BEST SERVICE EVER
These guys have always done a great job for me. My car gets pretty nasty by the time I get around to bringing it and they make it look new again. Today, my battery died when running it through the wash. After pushing it out of the way, they removed the battery for me, accompanied me to Wal-Mart to have it tested (we thought it was the alternator) and then put the new battery in for me. ....and may I add, all with a very positive upbeat attitude despite how busy they were. Big Thank You!
Great Experience with a PPI on a used Porsche
After seeing a few suggestions for German Car Repair, in Apharetta, I wound up using them to PPI a '99 C2 Cab that I was interested in. I flew down for the PPI yesterday am. I had a great experience with Alan Kidson (owner) and Jerry Weiden (their Porsche Master Mechanic). Beautiful shop, friendly, accommodating service. They worked with the seller to schedule the work (the seller sent it in by towtruck) and agreed to hold it in the shop over the weekend for pickup Monday. Unfortunately, the PPI ended almost as soon as it began, with a number of issues identified right off the bat. Before going any further, Alan and Jerry brought me out to discuss the issues, their required or...
Great experience working with Shayna and Larry
Both Shayna and Larry really helped me out with my father's car. He needed some special attention with his older Cadillac and they were pleasant, patient and flexible. They work really hard to improve customer service.
I heard of this place by referral from some other body shop that doesn't do upholstery, and I was not disappointed! The two gentlemen (father and son) who run the shop were very cooperative, even after the convertible roof I'd bought arrived with broken glass and we had to wait for a replacement to be shipped. The new installation looks FANTASTIC, and I think they may have done some extra work to reinforce and protect parts of the new roof so they don't rip in the same place as the old one did. They had a bunch of older cars in the shop, including a 1950s second-gen Ford F-100 and an old MG. There were also some newer convertibles, including a Honda S2000 (which is what I was having...
Finally, a mechanic that I can trust
I found Eddie's about a year ago and wish I would have found him sooner. I have an older Jeep Wrangler that Eddie has worked on several times. He's always honest about what needs to be fixed and his prices are very reasonable. Recently, Eddie put a new starter on the Jeep. Within a day or so of picking it up, I was still having problems starting it. I took it back to Eddie - and within 90 minutes, he ordered a new part, installed and tested it, and I was back on the road. Not only did Eddie NOT charge me anything additional, he made sure that I was able to attend to an important work call that day. He could not help getting a bad part from the parts store (there are occasionally...
