So much fun
My wife bought me a gift certificate to learn pottery as a retirement gift. I'm so glad I'm retired! I started at mudfire about 3 months ago. Their teachers started me on the pottery wheel on the first day and with practice and lots and lots of patience, I recently finished a set of 6 mugs - and they match. The setting there is very nice. It's very cool in the studio despite the summer heat. The staff is fantastic and very encouraging. The choices for glazes are mind boggling -there are so many. Everyone (staff and other potters) are very friendly. There are some professionals, but mostly it's folks like me, some retired, who are just now getting into clay. I'm glad I found mudfire....
my son (age 6) loved the summer camp they offer
GREAT KIDS CLASSES
Finally found an art program that is suited to our talented child's needs. Mr. Lane is a true artist. He loves what he does and takes great pride in his small but wonderful school. My son looks forward to his weekly classes and is very disappointed if he misses a week.
