new locks and good service
I recently had to buy a new set of locks for a house i own. After buying the handles we decided to go with dual-keyed deadbolts. The Buford home depot keyed all our handles alike free of charge but when i went to another H.D. they wanted to charge me $5 per 'barrel' or $10 per lock! since i was spending $90 on the locks i spoke with the manager about the charge and told them i'd have to 'think about it'. I returned to the Buford store and they assured me it was their policy to 'key for free' when i bought locks. I shop there often and have found the are well staffed and helpful. good deal for a DIY guy who sometimes needs some guidance :D
Employees were friendly and asked if needed assistance with finding anything (unlike Home Depot). We found exactly what we were looking for without any problems, like we encountered at Home Depot. The cashier was friendly and patient with us when we had to run back to get a bar code for an item that didn't have one. The only problem I noticed was the other cashier seemed to be a bit irritated with the employee being so friendly and patient with us. Good customer service pays off in the long run.
had them come in to finish after my contractor, Fred Brigham walked away from the job unexpectedly. They were fast with the quote, timely showing up, did a great job prepping and laying the floor and correcting errors made by the previous contractor. Fair pricing too.
