I have been doing business with Scott and his guys for almost as long as they have had the shop here in Norcross. These guys are not anything like your average bike shop where you deal with the bike snobs who seem annoyed at having to deal with us recreational bikers. Scott and Curtis and the guys are super friendly, very knowledgeable and always wanting to help and answer questions. You also can't beat the pricing on the bikes, especially when you factor in the value added that comes with the experience and knowledge.
Reliable and Effective
Every time I've visited Peachtree Bikes, the employees have always been superbly helpful. Even when juggling a full back of the shop (lots of bikes under work), their friendliness makes up for occasionally needing to come back the next day. But working near by as I do, it's not a problem. So, take that as another testament - they have loyal client base, among which I count myself. Flexible, patient, and understanding, they worked with me when I wanted to evaluate my options before buying, helped me learn about bike maintenance (e.g. how to change a tire, when to replace brakes) as I made purchases to get a used bike up and running well. Highly recommend!
Good folks to have around
Going through Atlanta for a race and stopped by to visit friends. Came out of the house to find the neighborhood kids playing and stuck sticks into my derailleurs and messed up the shifting (I guess "Guns of Navarone" was a recent showing on TNT). Took it to DB on the suggestion of several triathletes in the area. They were a bit backed up, but the Manager said they would try to fit it in in time for me to pick up for the race. Kudos to Mark. Stayed a little late on Friday in order to get me done and on the road. Everything worked great and not only were they as friendly as reported, but very cheap compared to where I'm from. And they didn't charge me extra to get me taken care of...
Great bike shop.
I recently visited intown bicycles for a repair and other service needs. Fantastic, friendly staff and good inventory of products. Great location also with free parking in the back. I highly recommend.
Great Local Shop
I pass by the bike shop every day coming from work. When I decided to get my bike fixed I stopped in. I like to use local shops instead of major chain stores. Great Decision. I am not a professional bike rider nor will ever compete in a bike race. I just wanted my bike repaired so I could ride it on the Silver Comet trail for exercise. The owner understand what I wanted and repaired my bike accordingly. He was nice enough to put a used tire he had available on my bike which saved me money and is good for the environment.
