Fun and educational
Great attraction for history buffs and anyone who enjoys southern culture. Tour guides are friendly and informative. Tour lasts about an hour and then there are several other buildings to explore on the grounds. Unique gift shop.
We traveled from Macon, Ga. This attraction is in the middle of nowhere and the parking lot was pretty empty and it made me think it would suck. I was already ill about the 75 bucks for me and 2 kids, but after we went through the first 2 sections, the mortuary and the 3d clown haus, we were pleasantly surprised. All 4 attractions take over 2 hours which really makes it worth the $. The actors are great and it turned out 2 be completley worth it, GREAT Attraction
One Of Best Attractions In Georgia
If you've ever driven down the road and seen a deer and tried to tell your kids to look real fast so they could see it, only to have it jump away before they do, this place is the place to see. The animals literally stick their heads in your car (or theirs, trust me, rent one) to eat some good. We're talking 30 foot giraffes sticking their head in your car, all the way in it. There's all kinds of animals. You drive thru part of it, walk thru the other. The highlight is certainly the drive thru part of the safari. This is something you nor your kids will soon forget.
Great education and rides program
The Dixie Wing is a detachment of the CAF and is comitted to preserving the heritage of the people and equipment of WWII. You can fly in one of several warbirds including a P-51 and SBD Dauntless. Beyond the planes is the facility that you can visit or rent for events. dixiewing.org
This little building does big things, the lessons and prices are very reasonable a great idea for 7yrs or older.
