Question re: vbac after myomectomy and c section
Dear Dr Tate, 5 and 1/2 years ago I had a fundal myomectomy (submucosal fibroid but all layers of the uterus were cut with removal) and a c-section at the same time. I am now pregnant with my second child and I've been told I must have another c-section due to possible uterine rupture. Thing is, I really want to try for a vbac. Is it too risky in your expert opinion? Kind regards, Sacha from CA
Love Him. BUT can't find him.
I found out when I called to reschedule my daughter's appointment that he's no longer with the practice. According to them, he's only working with newborns at the hospital now (but I'm hoping they just had a falling out and that's not actually true and that he's going back into practice for himself). However, I need to make my daughter's next appointment and don't look forward to the hassle of finding another pediatrician. UGH. Edited because I called Northside Hospital and apparently he is a neonatologist on staff there now and is no longer seeing patients. It would have been nice to have gotten some kind of heads up about that instead of finding out after the fact from the practice.
I'm not sure why some people have a bad experience. I've had nothing but good ones. The fact that someone is deferred most likely speaks more to an issue with the donor then the center. I like that they are stringent with their rules and regulations which lends more to concern for the health and well-being of their clients. Also, the staff is extremely friendly and show great concern. As to knowledge, they areyou not doctors but there are competent nurses on staff. If you have a question, ask them.
Wonderful Caring Podiatrist / Human Being
Dr Zarett has a new office manager, the old rude one left. He is a very kind, caring, knowledgeable podiatrist. Prescribed orthotics for my 3 children and foot surgery for one. My kids adore him as do I. Excellent Podiatrist
