Great Show and Place to Visit
The novel is great - I read it before we went to see the show so we could understand more of what this was all about. The show was fun for our whole family - really a treat with a spiritual message. The actors were pretty good. My kids enjoyed getting to go down and mingle with the characters during intermission, which was really part of the show. The grounds are also interesting to tour. The gift shop is nice and the Sons of the Pioneers dinner show was one of our favorite dinner shows in Branson.
These impersonators were impressive - very talented for what they did. This was a fun show - our kids had fun even though they didn't always know who the impersonators were. Elvis was great.
Entertaining Show For Families
Nothing questionable here, just good family fun. Jim Stafford is a talented guitar player. Currently he is attempting to add his children to the show. While Jim may be excited by the idea it was clear that the children were less than delighted. Maybe it was just the night we went to the show.
There was a good mix of young and some not so young talent. Very light hearted and family oriented. It is all country of course, that what we went there for, but just in case you expected something else, don't. But well worth your time.
