I'm not a big fan of airlines, but American has really made strides lately to be better than the rest. Customer service is among the best, the new check in kiosks are a breeze, and the planes I've flown on lately all seem to be new or refurbished, including those nice headrests. And maybe it's me, but it seems there's slighly more seat room on American vs. its main competitors.
A nice "medium-sized" airport
Dayton International has most of the things you expect in a big airport, with none of the lines. Check in is usually completed in just a few minutes, and security seldom has taken more than 10 - and is usually completed in five. There is not much selection in restaurants and little shopping. But the basics are there. Even the long-term parking only takes a few minutes to get from your car to the airport, and vice-versa.
