Fun for the Whole Family
Many of the exhibitions are geared towards kids, but people of all ages will enjoy the museum. Friendly staff, neat exhibits and a fun laser-light show make for a great venue!
just went in August!
Whenever I come 'home' to visit family and friends, I make a trip out to the Cincinnati Nature Center for a long walk and to reflect on my happy Cincinnati memories. I remember in 3rd grade our class at St. Gertrudes went here to help with spreading mulch walkways! I love the gift shop and all of the late Cincinnati artist, Charlie Harper, items and books they sell. It's another lovely spot and a special place in my heart in Cincinnati. Wish I could visit it in every season . . .
A Cincinnati Treasure
Been going to the Cincinnati Zoo for 48 years. Been to the San Diego Zoo, the London Zoo, the Phoenix Zoo and many others including one in South Africa. I'd say that the Cincinnati Zoo is one of the best I've seen and keeps getting better. Festival of Lights is a family tradition.
a beautiful museum
I like to come here every year I visit 'home' and family in Cincinnati. I know it's been under a lot of renovation lately, but the artwork they have collected is stellar and the way it's displayed is so well done! I seem to always be drawn to the Ancient Egyptian level, but greatly appreciate the paintings, as well. Having lunch in the Terrace Room is a special treat and Eden Park is a special place.
a fun and imaginative place for kids
We used to visit this place back in the late 60's and it still amazes kids! How funny to think that some guy decided to make his own castle! I remember the gooey guts in glass jars in the 'dungeon' - kids imaginations go wild here and it's always a fun day out.
