They own Marjorie P. Lee and Deupree House, and staff their team with highly qualified employees, whom they train magnificently! Our grandmother lives in one of their communities and wouldn't trade it for the world!
This community (on Rosslyn) is no longer called Deupree Community. It used to be owned by Episopal Retirement Homes (which still owns Deupree House on Erie, but not this facility on Rosslyn), but was bought by another group. It's now called Hyde Park Health Center. Seems like they're doing a good job with it so far. It was an excellent facility when owned by Episcopal Retirement, and had zero deficiencies on their state survey - a big deal!
An Excellent Place to Live
We have family living here, and they enjoy the facilities (which are about to be completely rennovated to include a new wellness area and pool, and new dining options!) The staff obviously enjoy working here, and treat the residents well. From the receptionists to the security officers (and of course nurses, etc..) they are all smiles and helpful!
My grandmother toured this community because she is thinking of moving to a retirement community, and this is tops on her list. We loved the newly built Deupree House II wings of the community! THe staff seem really nice and eager to help. Great location in Hyde Park!
I have found Oak Creek Terrace to offer a comfortable relaxed environment for those in need of Assisted Living and Nursing Services. They seem to be committed to the principle that well-planned and well-managed nursing homes offer the best settings within which to meet the physical, mental and social needs of those in need of care.
