My daughter had her first day today, I audited just to see the routine and be familiar with the program. It was a great experience. Both the lead teacher Miss Dietta and the assistant Miss Pam were so kind and worked so well with the children. There were different hands on type activities, sensory opportunities, projects/painting, bible stories, a clear routine, centers, snack time, field trips, and just a really warm welcoming environment. I was happy to see that the kids weren't just playing freely. I would highly recommend this center. I wish they offered more hours/ days, but I am grateful for the time my 4y/o will get.
Nice Outdoor Play Area
I recently took a tour of Playtime and was pleased with what I saw. Amanda, the Center Director, was very nice and the kids seem to really enjoy her. They have a separate room for 4 yr olds, 3 yr olds, 2 yr olds and then 3 separate rooms for 2 and under. Their naptime cots looked nice and I think it will help my kids to nap when they see all their friends laying down for naps. They have a separate outdoor play area for the 3/4 year olds and the 2 year olds. They offer a 2 days/week program, 3 days/week program and a 4/5 days/week program. They also offer before and after school care. The facility is close to the center of town yet set back from the road and away from things. I'm...
You Get What You Pay For
Both of my children have attended or are attending Small Scholars Preschool. Their fees are similar or a bit higher than other schools in the area, HOWEVER you get what you pay for! My children learn sign language & Spanish. What other school does that for 2-4 year olds. Yes, they accept children at age 2 and they don't have to be potty trained. When my oldest daughter was 2 I woke her up on Christmas morning. I asked her if she knew what today was. Her eyes got real big and she said "Is it preschool day?" She almost seemed a little disappointed when I told her it was Christmas. The owners are phenomenal. I can't imagine that anyone would be disappointed with this school.
SO thrilled we found Good Shepherd!
This school is fabulous. My first child went there, now my second, and soon my third. They learn SO much, and they have so much fun! The teachers and staff are kind and nurturing, the classes are well-planned, and the children are safe. I just can't say enough good about Good Shepherd, and I am a tough customer. You will feel like you are entrusting your child to family, only better, because they learn so much at Good Shepherd Preschool. Also, the prices are surprisingly affordable. The education earned at Good Shepherd Preschool has got to be the best value we'll see in our family's educational career.
