diamond in the rough
This is a hole in the wall place that is easy to drive by and miss. The customer parking lot has a comfortable capacity og about 5 or six cars. If you manage to find it and actually go in, the customer area is also bvery small, but the tortilla making operation is in full view. There are a few places to dine in, but this place is mostly setup for take out. The food is pretty good, but the fresh tortillas take everything to a new level. Its not a place you would drive across town to, but if you live in the area, you are missing out if this place is not in the rotation.
Surprisingly good grocery store
They are a local grocery store that took over for an Albertson's that left that space a while back. They have been open for quite a while now but I hadn't gone in until recently even though I try to go over there somewhat often because Hong Kong Royal, my favorite dim sum / chinese restaurant is next door, but because I am a little skeptical of the non-national chain grocery store, I never went in. I now know the error of my ways. They have some good stuff and good prices and I am happy to know about it and sad it took me so long to give it a shot.
Great Hometown Grocery
Brookshire's is a great place for specialty items that are higher quality than Wal-Mart. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A Brookshire family member is often around to greet and assist customers.
Very Friendly Staff
The staff will go out of their way to greet you and help you find anything you need. This is my favorite store and I drive over from Lacaster passing several stores to shop here. And the gas discount when you buy groceries there is great!
The Right Price
This is where we do most of our grocery shopping. It is convient and we especially like the 10 cents off a on a gallon of gas when you spend $100 in groceries. The store is clean and the staff is friently. Though, at times there are not enough cashiers. The self service is good if you just have a few items. And as a bonus, there is a Starbucks in the store.
