Understanding and considerate
I adopted a 9 month old female cat and which was very loving and sweet. She would have been great if she would have got along with my other cats. I called Donna three days after I brought her home and she gave me some ideals on how to work it out between the cats, but if I feel the cat would not work out I could bring her back. we kept her another four days but the cat did not want to make friends with the other animals. She only wanted me to herself. I returned her and Donna understood and did not question me or give me a hard time. Her main concern is that the animals all are happy and well taken care of. She returned my adoption fee and wished me well. If I am ever needing to adopt...
Thank you for the great work you did with Tiger and our family. Before you came to us, we knew Tiger was a great dog but didn't know how to communicate with her. You gave us real insight into what makes her tick and what to do to make her respond the way we wanted. The lessons on teaching her who was in control were particularly valuable. We now have a great foundation on which to build our lifelong relationship with our beloved dog.
I just wanted you to know that something you taught during the class really helped with a problem I have been unable to solve. When I walk my dogs together - or even one of them alone - and one of them sees another dog walking on the other side of the street, she goes nuts
Great dog trainer
Jim Burwell solved my dog problem that 2 other trainers couldn't. My dog was very protective/aggressive on leash. One trainer used harsh methods by jerking my dog and throwing him on his back. I couldn't stand it. The next dog trainer just talked. In 3 lessons Jim showed me how to use leadership role with my dog so my dog viewed me as his leader and I understood the things I needed to do to make my dog realize he did not own me. Walks became a breeze. Everything was positive, fun and incredibly educating
Thank you Mans Best Friend. The training received has made a big difference in our lives. Dill is doing great with obedience, we now have the confidence to go out in public with him and bring him in the house in the evenings. I think the protection training has given him the confidence and it has allowed me to overcome my fear of walking him alone. We are just beginning our journey, but I know he will be a fantastic addition to our family.
