"Here Everything's Better"
I can really put that phrase to the HEB stores in Austin. The produce is always in good shape and priced right. It is my grocery store of choice.

Nice People and good quality
The food is fresh, the store is spotless, and the workers are friendly. However, they are pretty small, so they don't have the greatest selection. But for my every day day to day needs, they have what I need. They do have good blue bell icecream selection which is important to me. They keep it stocked all the time and have good sales on it. Regular price stuff is usually too pricey tho. So I have to watch their ads and use coupons.
Great Selection Including Lots of Gluten Free Food
A trip to Whole Foods always turns into a much longer trip than planned. There is so much to see and try. Their selection of gluten-free and Celiac friendly foods grows weekly it seems. They often have gluten-free displays so you can find a variety of products in one central location. They are really good about including every single ingredient (including dressings and sauces) on their pre-cooked foods to go, which takes the guess work out of shopping if you are gluten intolerant. The salad bar is always fresh and a great way to eat healthy on the run.
bubble tea & toys
This is a cute little place near the UT campus that serves a million different flavors of bubble tea. All the flavors I've tried taste great. There are also plenty of Japanese toys and candies to check out (a bit pricey, however).
