Beautiful Wedding and Reception
The View Room was perfect place for wedding ceremony and reception. Great venue and staff! I highly recommend talking to Mr. Peterson about having your wedding here!
Its a good course, very challenging to me. But it is a little rich for my blood. But every once in a while I get to play it. So unless you are an avid golfer, plan on being a little frustrated.
Small Town- Great Course
I've played a few tournaments out at the Flying L and have always been pleased. I'm not an "avid golfer" but I am picky & this is one the courses I enjoy playing. It has a cool Signature hole at 9. One of the nice things about it is the location. It's away from city traffic & is part of a Guest Ranch so if you want to do a family weekend somewhere you can golf & horseback ride, Flying L is a great choice!
Difficult but Fun Course
Cedar Creek (yes, this is the correct course :)) is a great course! I like it most because it offers a challenge for a part-time golfer like me. It's difficult enough to make me try harder and want to throw my clubs in the nearest water hazard, but, when I survive the round I feel a sense of accomplishment. A couple drawbacks, the green fees are a little higher than the other Municipal courses in San Antonio & it tends to be quite busy on the weekends.
Fun To Play
This golf course is fun to play every once in a while. Great condition and the service is excellent. More of a scenic target course. If you are looking for a traditional layout, this is not your spot. Spectacular views especially from the tee box on no. 7. Do not waste your time going out to the Texas Open. This course is not condusive to walking and is a terrible place to hold a PGA Tour event.
