Called on for a service call, quoted $280 on a Water level switch replacement and I talked him down to 200 which was strange. Then had some work that needed to be done at a different home on a dryer...to replace the motor he quoted $500. The owner was concerned and we had a different tech come out and quote $270. On top of all of this, for some reason after the technician left the home the washer stopped working properly because he had parted out the machine and left. I called and expressed frustration with the cost and the guy on the phone got the tech to drop the price to $350 to get done. I verified the cost and called at 1:15PM to approve the work and let them know that we needed it TODAY. At 5:30PM, still no tech and an angry guest with wet clothes. THe technician said that he would make it out between 7-8PM and I notified the guest that it would be fixed. I came into work this morning and received an email from the guest staying at the home that his family got back from dinner at 10PM and the tech Dimitri had not arrived and the washer/dryer was still parted out. Upset and confused, I called the tech and to my disbelief an experienced tech had BROUGHT THE WRONG PART after all of this. I am very turned off by the service and cost of service that we've experienced as a property management company and will not use SD Appliance again. Worst experience I have ever had with a company and it's rather sad after I had expressed doing all of our business with them.

I have been using San Diego Appliance Repair for the last 3 years We have several washers and dryers in our apartment complex. San Diego Appliance Repair is our source for maintaining our laundry equipment. I have used them since 2004. They appear to be very helpful, and answered every question which I had. I was so happy that I made the decision to have them install new transmission on one of our Speed Queen washer that saves us a lot of money. They are always there ready to help and support us. They are ethical, professional, very technically oriented, and nice people to deal with. Richard F San Diego, 92109

I called San Diego Appliance Repair with a request to set up an appointment to fix my Ruud gas central heating system. They explained to me what they could do and told me that they would do it when it was convenient for me whether it was the same day or another day and time. They also suggested that my heating system definitely is worth the repair rather than replacing it. The estimate for the repair was very reasonable, and I went ahead and let them do it. I was so happy with my decision that a year later when my refrigerator wasn't making ice I called San Diego Appliance Repair right away without even looking for another company. Recently, during the later part of the year, I decided to remodel my house. My general contractor, who was moving the refrigerator, said that this was the best water line hook up job he had ever seen. If you have a broken appliances or heater call San Diego Appliance Repair. You will be very happy. Lisa P San Diego, Point Loma 92106

I found them at the BBB website, and was surprised at their attitude bordering rudeness. The two guys I interacted were both impatient, controlling and patronizing as if they were busy big shots running out of time and courtesy dealing with a little customer. I don't care how attractive the price is, there shouldn't be room for that kind of attitude in the marketplace.

My Kenmore dishwashers start leaking. I was about to replace the dishwasher with new one. I didn't really want to deal with new installations and start to look around for local companies which can take care of this problem. When I called San Diego Appliance Repair, I was happily surprised to find out that they can come the same day and take care of everything. In addition fixing the leak the technician did regular maintenance service by removing all the water hardness build from all the spray arms and screen filters free of charge which was additional service. Now my dishwasher is working much better than before and this is another one of those decisions that I made and I am very happy about. Mary D Coronado, CA 92118
