I have had the privilege of living all over the world, and while renting has it's moments, I've NEVER been treated so poorly as by this company! This particular rental agency used misleading tactics in order to solicit cash upfront for services they had no intention of providing. After looking at the house, we were immediately asked to put in our $100 application fee to start the process of renting. We were told that a personal check was not acceptable and that we could only give cash or a money order for the transaction. Not having cash on hand, we were informed that in order to ensure we would be the first in line in the application process, we would have to pay them on the spot. With our 3 month old baby in tow, we were then rushed to the nearest Wal-Mart to an ATM. Over the next few days, multiple emails were exchanged verifying employment, income, and credit standing, all of which were judgmentally questioned, yet FAR exceeded the requirements to rent this property. We were informed that they were "almost done with the application." The next day, we sent an email asking about the status, no response for two days. Called back only to be told they went with another applicant, despite the pretense that we were first in line after the collection of our $100 application fee. They threatened to put my name on a "bad tenants list" and that "no one would rent to me." There are multiple reviews for this business with much worse results!!

This month I received a call from Rachel at 1 Sterling Place about a water emergency in one of my properties at Townsend Way. It seems as if the geniuses that built the community put extra slender water heaters in the attic (where temps can exceed 200 degrees in the summer), where they wear out faster and can cause unnecessary damage had they been placed in a sensible spot. Thankfully, Rachel was on top of the situation and sent plumbers out straight away to stop the leak. The heater will need to be replaced but Rachel was great at keeping me up to date and informed. She is awesome!

One of the good things that I'm taking into 2014 is that I had enough sense to get 1 Sterling Place to handle my condo for me. They are great at updating me about things that need to be fixed and its always good to talk to Rachel there.

They have managed my rental property for almost twenty years, and I've never considered working with anybody else. They do it all, expertly, and with timely communications. The best property management company!

When we have problems with renters, they make things so much easier to take care of them. It's so helpful to receive all the updates they give us on the situations. I appreciate all that they have done for us.

The managers here have done a great job. We are pleased that they are willing to go out of their way to make things right and keep them that way. The have been a great company to deal with.

Sterling has a well organized lease system that lets both the landlord and tenant know what is expected of them. They work hard and I appreciate all they do. I am looking forward to our ongoing business relationship.

They got high quality renters much quicker than I could have done on my own. I hired them mainly for this reason and they did exactly what I needed from them. The staff is friendly and professional.

Purchasing and dealing with a property is an anxiety-producing thing and Rachel made it so easy to deal with. Not sure what I would have done without her. I cannot recommend her and her company more highly. You will be in great hands.
