I met with these two at my new home. They seemed really nice and knowledgeable. I was excited that they were going to get back to me about a quote. I never heard from them up until today. If you're out there guys....I called on someone else to do the job...and it turned out fabulous! Thanks, anyway!

We met the potential client back in October of last year. She expressed her need of wanting to remodel her future master bath and kitchen. Her budget was $10,000 (including fees). We brought our contractor out to give her an estimate and a week later, she had the estimate provided to her. Weeks went by and we never heard back from her. We assumed the estimate was too high and we told her the day we met that $10K is next to impossible for a complete bathroom and kitchen gut. She indicated she was firm on her budget, which we understood. However, gourmet kitchen guts usually cost anywhere from $20-$100K alone. Her budget was unrealstic. Nevertheless, we tried to follow-up with her via email and never received a response. We'd like to personally express our distaste in her review, which we obviously take very seriously. We are more than happy to provide as many references as necessary to ensure our future clients that we are committed. We charged the reviewer nothing for the visit or the lengthy estimate and furthermore, her lack of communication with us is also to blame. However, we are glad that she was able to get a new kitchen/bath remodel, but something tells us that it was more than $10K. It's also quite possible that "response" emails ended up in each other's junk mailboxes. Things happen. THANKS!
Jason and Michael were easy to work with and really listened to our taste and budget. We love the finished product. However, we were really disappointed with the work of the first painter they hired. He did a terrible job, and even after Jason & Michael went the extra mile to re-do a lot of it, it still leaves something to be desired. Luckily for the second phase of the project, they hired a different painting crew who did a good job.

Jason & Michael are so talented, and so great to work with. They really understood me and transformed my new penthouse condo into a showplace. They exceeded my expectations in my Living and Dining room. So much attention to detail. Their suggested choices of color and texture flow so beautifully! The big reveal is the best. We have recently completed the Den, and again...wow! I love working with them and look forward to starting on the next room. I believe that your home is a reflection of yourself and Jason & Michael can make your vision a reality.

2 Gays & A Design came to my recently purchased condo in historic Vinings and 'redefined' the existing decor. They provided suggestions, recommendation and ideas that immediately coordinated with my own;tasteful, stylish and very elegantly within budget. I was immediatly amazed at the accuracy with which they were able to give such accurate ideas/suggestions.Both Michael and Jason showed a keen perception of what I needed/wanted. While I prefer simple elegance, I also needed to maintain a budget.Needless to say, these phenomenal artist tastefully completed an exquisite redecorating project.I'm proud to have encountered them.

Every design challenge is their opportunity to shine. They can see what you dream and do not stop until every detail is completed beyond your expectations. They have completely re created 2 rooms and furnished one other. I look forward to more. Thanks guys for your determination and talent. Did I mention cost conscious, easy to be with and professional!!! farris
I was extremely impressed with the level of talent and service I received from both Jason and Michael. I initially hired them to design my living room, but was so thrilled with the outcome, I had them design my whole house! I am completely satisfied with 2 Gays & a Design!
I utilized Michael and Jason's design expertise in decorating my master bedroom. I really appreciated their ability to make excellent recommendations based on my general ideas for how I wanted the space to look. Having seen their previous work, I knew I could trust them to guide me in the right direction and I love the finished product. They remained super available to me throughout the entire process and I look forward to working with them to update the look of the rest of my home.
We met Jason and Michael about a year ago. They were just starting their own business. We shared similar taste in design. A few months later, we were ready to do the $50K home remodel. By that time, they had partnered with Pride Residential. We made a HUGE mistake. The 2 guys seemed to have integrity and a conscience. They seemed to be meticulous and pay close attention to detail. The work ended up being extremely sloppy. If I had wanted a bad paint job, I would have done it my self. The quarter round does not match the existing trim. I am not real sure what they were thinking with the nipple light fixtures and the dry wall had to be patched 4 times before it was even tolerable. The list of screw ups is very long. When the quality of work was done poorly - the response from Michael varied from 'oh well' to 'it was a training issue'. No attempt was made to fix it, repair it or compensate us in any way. I am quite sure it would be a whole different outcome if it was their home and their money.

The "nipple" fixtures were chosen by the client, as were the quarter round, doors, floors, lighting, etc. Our job as designers was to do our best to educate our clients on what looks best in taking a builder-grade home and updating it to fit the client's lifestyle, but most of the time, we have to compromise. Did we fire a contractor for the poor work provided? Yes. Did the work eventually get done? Yes. It isn't as if we walked into the client's home and took their money. Both clients were able to reach us via phone, text, email, etc. at all times and we promptly responded. We absolutely understand the client's frustration, but did we run and hide and pretend that there weren't problems to be dealt with? No. We stuck to our job even though we took a heavy loss from our former contractor. At the end of the day, the clients have a beautiful home now with all new floors, cabinetry, lighting, doors, etc. The biggest thing we've taken from this experience is not all homeowners can handle designers. It's completely understandable to be hesitant to strangers coming into your home and taking the reigns as to what they think looks good. However, if the client can't let go and nitpicks every little detail, everyone ends up being miserable in the long run. I ask the reviewer to provide proof of when it was ever conveyed to her that we said it was "a training issue" or "oh well"... I also ask the reviewer to recount the multiple times she alienated her spouse to the point where she left the house because she was so unbearable to handle. I understand Kudzu is about the consumer, but it's also about the business' reputation. It's only fair that we respond as business-owners to Woodstock's review, which is filled with plenty of holes. We are more than happy to provide as many references as future clients need to give them peace of mind that we may not be perfect, but we are committed to providing you the services you deserve to the best of our ability.
Jason and Michael did a great job helping us get our family room and living room decorated. They were very easy to work with and stayed within our budget. We really love our living and family rooms now and will be working with them in the future when we have saved enough to do our the rest of our house.

I recently purchased my first condo and although it was "move-in ready" it needed some serious decor surgery. I was referred to Jason and Michael at 2 Gays & a Design and had them totally redesign my master bedroom and my living room...the first time I have ever used a service like this. After discussions about my likes and dislikes, favorite colors, and overall goals, they moved ahead and took care of everything. On both "installation" days I was sequestered until they completed the rooms and then we had the big "reveal". They're lots of fun to work with and clearly know what they're doing. They work with licensed vendors for work they do not do themselves. If you are design challenged like me, 2 Gays & a Design are heavensent. Highly recommended.
