Found these clowns on craiglist. Our washer stopped spinning, and they came out on Saturday. $20 to check, but that would apply to the repair. "Tom" whose English was limited to single words, spent 20 minutes messing with the washing machine. He comes over to us, and says "It's the main control unit". How much and when? I will check Monday, but maybe $200 plus $85 labor (all this for a $400 washer?). Needless to say he never calls on Monday, so I get a electrical engineer buddy to come over and listen to the beeps, and we determine, it is the DOOR SWITCH! Go down to an appliance repair store in National City, and $20.83 later the washer works. I am glad those numbskulls did not call me back, they did me a favor. I'd be out almost $300, and still have a broken washer.
