Scheduled an appointment with this company on 12/20 and then just called on 1/4 to ask about where they are with coming to complete my house. Said they have been busy and can take 10-12 business days to get out there. I would have loved to try them out, but they took way to long to respond so I told them to cancel. Kind of dissapointed they didn't even try to solve the problem.

So sorry about the delay! Unfortunately, weather and holidays had us backed up. We're getting caught up now and you would have been done in the early part of the coming week if not cancelled. There's a reason were busy and others have no wait. Thanks!
I have been using "A Better Gutter Cleaning" since I bought my home 6.5 years ago. Their pricing is very reasonable, they communicate well, and they make it very easy to do business with them. (And there is NOTHING sketchy about them at all.) My roof is an older roof, and they have been wonderful about pointing out needed repairs from time to time, and then quoting a very reasonable price. It gives me great peace of mind to know that they're looking out for the integrity of my roof; however, most of the time there are no recommendations, so I feel comfortable that they're not taking advantage either. Finally, they do such a great job cleaning up! My roof, sidewalk, and driveway always look SOOO much better after they've been here. Thanks!

Have used their service for two years now. Reliable and competent service. Did some repairs to our gutters for a very fair price.

ABG took care of my two-story house at a very competitive price. They also provided me with some information on repairing my gutters without being too pushy, or trying to get me to upgrade to covered gutters. Also, they invoiced me through PayPal, so I didn't even have to bother with snail mail. I'll definitely call them again next year.

I have a three story townhouse with only 2 gutters but the gutters are 40 feet high so extension ladders are needed. I have found the service reasonably priced and I have used them for several years. They even repaired shingle damage (due to fallen satellite dish) for a reasonable price - that way I did not need to get a roofer for a minor job.

As a woman, I never felt comfortable with this company because the men they send out are kind of sketchy. They're not friendly, don't show common courtesies or respect for property, and take advantage of repeat customers by scheduling on the "off" season (when not needed) with only a day's notice. I recently had to deal with the "managing partner" andfound him to be rude. I had just driven up and was waiting for one of them to get away from the gate so I could open it. I watched him push our electric gate open as far as it would go. This bent the arm of our gate. I stoodthere and talked to the "managing partner" about it, who insisted it was fine and didn't apologize. I forgot about it until he sent me a rude email saying that my payment was overdue. After paying the bill, I wrote back to express my displeasure about the gate, his "follow up", and the way everything was handled. He wrote me back and argued about what happened, wouldn't admit responsibilty, didn't apologize again, and somehow tried to turn things around to put me at fault. For something he said didn't happen. I asked him, why would I go to the trouble to bring something up for no reason? I didn't ask him to pay to repair the gate or say that I shouldn't have to pay for the service, and I certainly have better things to do than argue with some strange man who basically accuses me of lying. These are not the kind of men I want on my property. I found them to be rude, unprofessional and sketchy

I've never been accused of being sketchy, so that's a first on me. Now, here's what I wrote you everyone can judge for themselves: "Hey Melissa,
When we got to the house, the gate was open about 1-2 feet. My guys were walking through the gate when you pulled up. We never "pushed" on the gate. You shut the gate with your remote and everything seemed fine, but at the time you were unwilling to speak with us because you were "in a hurry."
We had no idea that any damage was done to the gate, etc, until now. If you think we damaged the gate somehow, I am happy to discuss that with you. Please forward me an invoice for the gate repairs and I will take a look at it. I'm more than happy to pay for any damage that we cause at your property or anyone elses.
I'm sorry that you think my email is rude. I spent a lot of time trying to make it as simple and to the point as possible. I have gone ahead and deleted your email address from our system and taken you off service contract. You will not hear from us again except possibly by mail once a year or so.
Feel free to call me or email me anytime.
Thanks, " I sent you an email asking for payment and you let me know the gate was damaged today. I think my response was appropriate and polite. I would never accept responsibliity for something that I hadn't even had a chance to look into at all. No responsible person would do that. On the other hand, we are happy to pay for any thing we even might have done in almost all cases like this. Remember also, that to be fair in your review of us, you have been using our service 2 times a year for the last 10 years at least! So, we must have been doing something right all this time.
I had some problems with my plastic gutter screens and needed some gutter cleaning as well. The crew leader called me the morning of my afternoon appointment to go over a few things and get some details. He was concerned with the setup I was using on my gutters and so was I! Anyway, they came out later that day, cleaned out all the gutters, took off the plastic screens that were causing the problem in the first place and installed new metal gutter screens. I couldn't be happier. The service was great and the pricing was fair for all the work they had to do. I was really impressed overall.

They clean my gutters 3 times a year and they have always been thorough, on time, and reasonably priced. They are a great value and very easy to work with. The only reason I don't give 5 stars for service is that they left a handful of gutters debris in the front yard this time, but no big deal!

I love that I can just schedule online with these guys. I never even talk with anyone...just schedule it online, they communicate via email mostly, and I am not required to be home for the service. I just pay online once I'm happy with everything. It's great for a busy Mom!
We try hard to make gutter cleaning the easiest service you'll schedule all year long. I'm glad you appreciate the work that we put into making that happen!
I can't stand having to get the gutters cleaned, but these guys make it pretty easy. I've used them several times with positive results and will continue to do so. As a side note, I like that they check the roof and gutters each time they come out. I know I can't get up there!

With all the positive reviews I read, I was a bit let down with the quality of work. After the crew left today, I took a walk around the house to admire my clean gutters. What I discovered was a pile of leaves on the roof near one of the lower gutters. Climbing up on my ladder, I found that gutter full of leaves for the full length. I called the office and the crew was turned around and came back to finish the job. That's good. What's bad is, without getting out my extension ladders, I can only assume the other (higher) gutters were cleaned. It seems one crew member thought the other guy had cleaned that one so it just got missed. In addition, a downspout had to be unclogged at an elbow after I asked if they had been cleaned. I don't know how they can ensure a downspout is clear without running water through it. I would expect the crew leader to do a quick inspection to assure the job is acceptable before asking for payment. On a positive note, they're fast and the is price right, so I'll probably use them again. But I'll check behind them before paying.

First of all, apologizies are in order and have been given from my understanding. This is highly unusual that a gutter gets overlooked, but that's exactly what had happened. I know that if you give us a try in the future, you'll never have anything like this happen. Thanks!
ABGC came back out to resolve the problem. It was not the result of anything that they had done or not done, just a unique situation with the configuration of my gutters. They went above and beyond and I am very pleased. I highly recommend Blake and his crew as well as the rest of the team.

I had ABGC out to clean my gutters awhile back. They did a thorough job at a fair price. They even send out reminder e-mails or postal mail every now and again, which is good if you need regular cleanings and don't check your own gutters.

I have used A better gutter cleaning for the past 3 years and have not had to much issue with them. I have had the occasional call from the foreman on additional repairs to be made besides the gutter cleaning. On two occasions they called about problems I knew already existed and I appreciated that they did not try to exaggerate the problem or overcharge. Appointments are easy to schedule online and they give you one day notice before they come out.
