We moved from Atlanta to Michigan and used A.C. White/Mayflower. The problems we had with this company are far too voluminous to fit here. My message to you is STAY AWAY!!! We've made 8 cross country moves in the last 20 years and A.C. White/Mayflower is by far the worst mover we've ever had the displeasure of working with. We paid them close to $7000 expecting all of the bells and whistles they promised (expertise, excellent customer service, careful handling of our belongings, etc) but got none of that. I can't stress enough how poorly run this company is, the amount of stress they impose, all the while compounding their colossal failure with their complete and utter lack of concern for their customers. I'm giving them one star only because that's the only way I can get this review published, otherwise, I wouldn't give it to them. Take my advice, don't even waste one minute on this loser.. And, if you have problems with any Mayflower agent, don't expect Mayflower Transit (the corporation) to come to the rescue, because they won't.
Area Atlanta, GA

This company broke my antique furniture. Four movers showed up to move 10 pieces of furniture into their storage for them to ship. It took them 4 hours. They watched TV in my bedroom upstairs, while the female member of the crew sat in my living room on her cell phone. Beware of A.C. White!

I recently moved from Atlanta to Richmond, VA and used the services of A. C. White. They were professional and courteous in everything they did. The packing and move were done on time. The unload was well-manned and efficiently done. The initial estimate was very accurate. The follow-up by the office in all phases of the move was excellent. WELL DONE A. C. WHITE.
