We contracted with this firm in April to try and find a long term (3 years) nanny for our two children. After interviewing 3 unqualified candidates and one that was good but lived too far away we wanted to take a break until July with the hope that more qualified candidates would surface. I contacted the firm on July 31 to find out why no further contact had been made by them. I was told that we had cancelled the agreement with them in May, which is not true. After attempting to re-start the search the firm has refused and will not refund the $275 fee that we paid. This firm did not live up to their contractual agreement and has actually begun personal attacks against me to try and deter me from pursuing a positive outcome. The firm refuses to acknowledge their contractual obligations, so I would not trust them. If Kudzu would let me give 0 stars that's what I would do.

My wife works from home, but needs a little time to herself to actually get some work done. I'm home in the morning, but leave for work around noon or 1:00, which leaves her with our 7 month old for the rest of the day. She calls A Friend of the Family almost every week to have someone come over to help for a few hours two or three days a week. They have been extremely helpful and I don't know what we would have done without them. Although we don't get the same nanny every time the ones that have been sent have been, for the most part, quite capable. There have been one or two that we have taken of our call list. Outside of that, we've been a committed customer.
