My boss at work recommended this salon to me. I was initially hesistant becuase of the other reviews I read here...even though the negative ones were all from almost a year ago. I called and made an appt. 2 days in advance. When I walked in, they all greeted me and I told them I had an appt. They told me to pick a color & as soon as I was done, they put me right in a chair. They took great care of me (and my feet) during my pedicure & my feet looked AMAZING! I took my sister-in-law and her daughter and we all got pedicures & it was only $45, so the price was awesome. I will be a return client & I would recommend getting your own 1st impression before believing all of the negative comments.

I will not ever go back to A+ nails- the girl that worked on my nails was very unsocialable acted like a queen, some other lady was yelling for her to hurry so she could do her nails, so I had to switch techs in the middle, a guy named Brandon did mine- he told me that the color I wanted would not look good and suggested I just go natural, my nails were like knives when I left and I ended up having to file them down- complete waste of money and time, oh and don't bother making appt. they don't honor it.

I used to see Tyson who owns the place and did a great job on my nails. But I decided to try shellac, so I had to switch to his wife, Cathy. Cathy is (to put it mildly) a wench. I was imposing on her from the moment I sat in her chair. She was furiously impatient when I tried to choose a color, and she insisted that since my nails were so short I shouldn't get a color, I should just go with something blah and bland until they grew out more. When my 'finished' nails didn't match the color on the sample nail, she explained that she had only given me two coats of polish because it would 'melt' my 'thin' nail to do more. That totally didn't make sense. Furthermore, it upset me because I was already going from an acrylic to shellac, which was going to be thinner and an adjustment. But to have even flimsier nails because she didn't feel like doing an extra coat? That was it. Dealing with her sour personality was bad enough. But she's a liar, and she cheated me out of a full shellac. I checked. No such thing as a coat of polish melting a natural nail. Hogwash. She was in a hurry. Given her performance I cannot in good conscience give that salon more than two stars. Avoid Cathy like the plague if you go. Tyson can be cranky. He didn't speak to me at all the first time I went, but he warmed up on the next visit. At least his work was fabulous. I'm switching salons though.
