Tex was recommended to us by the previous owner of our home - seller had done a remodel and used Tex. Seller said Tex does great work for a fair rate. We agree! We had Tex come out today for a whole list of electrical items I wanted looked at. He gave very honest advice on several projects that we'll be putting off for a later date, and completed the projects we did decide to tackle in a very professional, straightforward and capable way. Honestly, this is our first home and I don't know much about electricians, but this guy seems to be the real deal for a fair price ($75 per hour plus parts). I'll definitely be working with him again in the future!

His work was good and his price was reasonable. But he put bright orange stickers on my fuse box, my water heater, and my garbage disposal; all without my knowledge or consent. The stickers use the glue that adheres so you cannot peel the sticker off if you don't want it. If you want to give me a magnetic sticker to put on my refrigerator, fine. BUT DO NOT DEFACEMENT MY PROPERTY. This is MY house. You are an invitee into MY house. Do not leave your bight orange stickers plastered wherever you feel like it in MY house.

My home was broken into yesterday and my sliding glass door was destroyed. We believe the burglar was in the house when my wife came home so, along with discovering minute-by-minute more things that were missing, the stress level was high. I had a gaping hole in the back of my house that needed to be fixed NOW, if for no other reason, to give us back a little peace of mind. With police in and out and my family so upset, I couldn't fix the door myself. I called Tex and after explaining my situation he said he'd leave the job he was on and come right over. He asked the dimensions of the door and showed up 30 minutes later with a pre-cut piece of plywood and went straight to work. Tex knocked all the hanging glass down, altered the existing door frame, custom fit the plywood into the frame, bolted it down and cleaned up the whole area. Since it could take weeks to get a new door, this level of repair was exactly what we needed. He did a great job. As far as cost, considering Tex left another job, got here in record time and worked for a couple hours, his fee was much less than I expected. Aside from the quality of his work, Tex expressed a genuine concern for my family and was just a great guy to work with. I would recommend Tex for any job. If I can give more details about working with Tex, feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com.

We hired Tex Adams to change lights in our bathroom. He worked very slowly spending 6 hours on this project (plus 1 hour for just talking about the projects we needed to get done). Installation ended up costing over $700 (much more than what we paid for the lights!). I would not recommend him to anyone and will not use him in the future. The only reason why we hired him in the first place, is because he has so many positive reviews on kudzu. However, after our experience I did read some 1 star reviews for Tex and all of them resemble ours. Not sure where his gets all these positive comments. Don't hire him, it's a waste of money! Another annoying thing that he did is he put large red sticky signs with his phone number on our electric main saying "need electrician, call Tex Adams" without our consent! The glue is so strong, I can't even take them off. Who does this?!

CONSIDER THE SOURCE :This is probably a competiotor , no one ahs expressed any pain concerning any job . If They had I would explain time use or Labor involved . THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE A COMPETITOR
We have been using Tex for our electrical and plumbing needs, and other odds and ends, for almost 3 years. We call him by default. We do so because he is responsive, very competent, and trustworthy. Tex has the highest standard for his work and, unlike some others, is very open and honest when he believes there is a less expensive way to do things or when he feels some work is unnecessary. We appreciate someone who gives an honest and professional opinion even when it may reduce his scope of work. There is nothing we would not use Tex for as we know he will tell us if there is a better and/or less expensive alternative.

Found Tex on Kudzu. He called me right back and I had an appointment within a couple of days to fix an electrical issue. Was on time, polite and got right to the issue and fixed it. I'd use him again.

Tex helped with a number of maintenance items on my aging home. He was very knowledgeable as I walked him around inquiring about future projects. Pricing is very reasonable and he finished in a timely manner. - Very professional.
