He was always the best in my opinion, unfortunately I was turned away with a very sick dog, thankfully I found another who saved her life. Does not change my opinion of his abilities, he was always very thorough and thankfully very lenient with me on the financial side

I received this response to my review from Dr. Thomann (shows his true Character :( After your review I have decided to send you all your files and you can find another vet. If you were not happy then you could just have found another vet or voiced your concerns to me to see if we could remedy. Instead you just jump to writing a review online like a coward. We worked you in that day since you waited until the last minute , and unfortunately made a mistake in scheduling, (and good luck in finding vet that is available 24/7). Our machine clearly says we are closed on Tuesday, and if it was that important you should have called back on Wednesday when we are open, or signed up for our wellness plans that give your VIP access. If cutting nails is so easy you can try it, and not too mention we have to muzzle your dog too. Maybe you should find another boarding facility if your dogs continue to get kennel cough even with 6 month vaccinations. Good luck finding another vet to just call in Rx anytime you want it...

My father and I bought a great dane puppy and wanted to get his ears cropped. We live in Granite falls, and no place around here crop dog ears. So with a lot of research I found this place. It's an hour drive but it has been so worth it! Our dog ears look amazing! The vet and staff are wonderful. I wish they were closer but the way the ears turned out made the drive worth it.

AAA Pet Services are the best in the area. Dr. Mike gets right to the problem and solves it with professional ease and calmness. His office and patient area are clean and neat. Dr. Mike and staff are most efficient and pleasant, comforting and caring. Our kitten had an eye infection misdiagnosed by previous vet and when we brought him to Dr. Mike due to his examination, diagnosis and prescriptions the infection cleared up within two days and our kitten is back to normal. AAA Pet Services prices are very reasonable. We have every confidence in Dr. Mike and we recommend Dr. Mike and his practice wholeheartedly. Lou & Nancy

I brought my dog here for the first time and let's just say she was quite nervous. Within 5 minutes of entering, my dog had an accident—not once, but twice so naturally, I was pretty embarrassed. To make sure my dog was completely ready for her visit I decided to step out for a second. When I came back I kept thinking their impression of me must have not been so good. To my surprise, the entire staff (the doctor, the veterinary nurse, and the receptionist) showed us nothing but the utmost kindness. The whole time they were completely professional, despite my dog still feeling nervous. Based on this experience and the way they handled the situation, I would definitely come back again. If you are looking for excellent service and great people who love what they do, I would certainly recommend AAAPS!

I took my pit bull Ace here a long time ago. The doctor almost killed him. He was perfectly fine then after he did the ear crop, he said he had a bad heart. The pain that it cause my 2 children, but he did remember to take my money. The bully I have now I'm afraid to get his ears crop thanks to this doctor.

Unfortunately your dog had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and thus had a heart attach during anesthesia...as this is a common disease in back yard breeders with large dogs. This is a condition that has nothing to do with the medical care that was given. Actually your dog was lucky and survived the heart attack---unfortunately YOU decided to give up your dog because YOU did not want to spend the time and $ to care for your dog.......that ultimately went on to make a FULL recovery ! I hope nothing happens to your 2 legged kids!!! We have cropped over 2000 dogs ears and guarantee all our work ( expect when things occur due to congenital diseases ).
I took my 9 year old poodle mix for her annual exam and I was impressed with how professional yet personable the staff was. I found them informative and caring. My dog had a growth that my wife was convinced was cancer and it was asperated and Dr.Thomann educated us about the growth while very clearly spelling out our options. We decided to have it removed even though it was not cancer, it healed perfectly! I like the fact you actually see the vet as well as the staff. My dog also had bad teeth which again it was explained very clearly what my options were and I made the choice to have teeth pulled. My wife and I now realize the importance of dental care in pets, I feel badly my dog needed the extractions and we let it go too far but that was my ignorance, I wish I knew sooner. I didn't want the bacteria spreading and ultimately I find this place will always error on the side of what's best for my dog and my wallet. I will never go anywhere else! We are clients for life!!! Very professional and caring, informative and friendly!!!

I brought my dog in to have her teeth cleaned. The dr let me know she may need some pulled and asked if I wanted to be called about the number, I said no, given the impression it would be just a few. Fast forward until after and I find out it had been 19. It would have been really nice to be called beforehand, I told the doctor that and he proceeded to argue with me and said I told him not to. 19 is a lot more than a few. She probably did need the extractions, but the professional thing to do would be to call. Also, instead of letting me know they couldn't get ahold of my past vet for shot records, they went ahead and did them. once again, a phone call would've been nice. I would've followed up with the vets office myself but I was assured they were taking care of.

So I am getting a 1 Star review for doing what he told me to do?!! It is not my fault that she neglected her dog's teeth for so long, and that the dog needed 19 teeth removed because they were so infected! She also fails to mention I quoted her $25.00/root extraction prior to the dental. The 19 teeth came out to 27 roots===$675.00 just for extractions, and I charged her ONLY $250.00 !!! Legally the pet has to have its vaccines, and they were all past due as we later found out...although I told her I would refund the $ if she did not need them. We hope Chloe appreciates what we did, and is doing well.
I found AAA Pet Services online after speaking with several others who were unwilling to help me and my dog Aiko. Dr. Mike was able to give me assistance over the phone and even came into the office to see my dog on his day off. Dr. Mike has kept in touch with me through out this process of trying to get her back to health and I am very thankful. I would/have recommend/ed him to other pet owners without hesitation. It is evident that he is dedicated to his profession and the animals he serves. Excellent Service!

Dr. Mike recently came to my home to care for my 15 year old dog who was nearing the end. It was so nice to have them come to my home instead of the stress of moving my dog to a vet's office which upset her. We tried an alternative treatment plan which unfortunately didn't work. Dr. Mike understood the difficult decision in putting my dog down and was very kind and thoughtful.

In my experience I have worked with some good vets and some better vets. Dr Mike and Sandy have been the best. Very caring, and compassionate. You can tell that they have a real calling to working with both pets and the pet owners. Could not have had a better experience. Thanks Mike and Sandy!!

Dear Dr. Mike & Sandy, I just wanted to say how pleased we are with your services, and with both of you personally. You are so very efficient and nice.We have never enjoyed a vet visit before we met both of you. Your service is a blessing to us. I hate vet visits, but now that is not the case. We will be telling people about your service for sure. Thanks again for all your help, we look forward to getting all of our vet work done in our driveway! Thanks for making our lives easier. My dog has had severe vet anxiety his entire life. Yet, during a recent urgent situation, Dr Mike and Sandy were able to treat him in his own back yard. Most important of all, they made my dog comfortable. He was happy and excited to see them, and not nervous! He ran right up in the RV! My dog was in love with them! The service is top of the line, with prompt communication. Both are very professional, yet ultimately personal and heartfelt in their care. They very patiently answered all my nervous questions. My dog means the world to me and the fact that he was at ease, just put me over the moon with joy. I have a new vet! Thanks Dr. Mike and Sandy!

Dr. Mike and staff are affordable, caring, fast, and always there to help. I can call/email, with fast reply from Dr. Mike himself. Need meds? With a call or email, I can get them in a day or two by mail. They easily diagnosed issues with my cat that had been long ignored by the prior vet. I will never use another vet, and I recommend them to anyone!
