Welcome to ABC Veterinary Hospital, where pets are family. At ABC Veterinary Hospital, we offer a full range of veterinary services designed to provide the highest level of care for your special pet.
Our facilities are complete with radiology, dentistry and an in-house laboratory. In addition to general medicine, we offer low-cost spay, neuter and vaccine services as well as year-round flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
Advances in medicine and science technology afforded ABC.. Veterinary Hospital the opportunity to enhance our exceptional care through the field of telemedicine. Outside specialists in fields such as cardiology, orthopedics and radiology can assist in diagnoses. This allows the doctors and staff at ABC Veterinary Hospital to care for your pet with the same specialized attention that you would expect for yourself.
One of our dogs had demodectic mange and although this issue can be a very frustrating one they tirelessly helped us come to a solution that has worked out and our little guy is finally free of mange. Hurray!

I brought my little bully in because he had a limp and a one-eyed-willie. Before the Vet, Dr. Heidt, even addressed our concerns, she made sure to scare us into Frontline and some other heartworm preventative. If I wanted my dog on that stuff, then he would be on it already! She then took X-rays and came to not even a suggestion as to what his injury or growth might be. She did say that she was more than willing to spend more of my money by taking more X-rays and drawing the same non-conclusion. Not smart. Dr. Heidt is probably a great vet but not a great people person. The receptionist was the best part of the whole visit. I won't be going back to ABC vet.

Staff here are very kind and caring about animals. They give good service and no long waiting periods for appointments. They have walk in shot appointments which is very helpful.

I've gone to ABC clinics for years, but in the last year or so I have had unsatisfactory experiences at this office with three different vets. One of them gave me a hard sell (and practically berated the tech within my hearing) about screening my cat for lots of parasites when I already knew she had tapeworms, and where she got them, and didn't want to waste money testing her for things there was no reason to think she had. Like many "people" doctors she didn't give me much credit for knowing anything. The second vet, although nicer, was unaware that eye dilating liquid can cause animals to gag/become distressed because it drains into their throat and tastes bitter (information I later found was readily available on the internet). The third vet had no idea what was causing my cat's frantic grooming behavior, and had no suggestions about who else I could take him to or any further course of action at all. While I was paying he came out and said "Hopefully it's not feline hyperesthesia," briefly described this horrible condition and how they sometimes need to "cut off their tails", and left again without a word of guidance. (Luckily it wasn't that!) While not horrific, my recent experiences here have given me little confidence in the vets' competence or their concern for me or my animals. The techs and office staff have always been extremely helpful and nice so shots and other routine treatments have been fine.

We've had our dog for three years and this is hands down the best vet we have used. Even moving 20 miles away, we always return to this office because they are always so helpful and great to work with. I highly recommend this vet's office. **Note: If you are a new pet owner, they are full of helpful imformation to get you started.
