The owner of this company RUDY CERVANTEZ, does not return phone calls during your repair, he carries NO parts to fix your spa and never shows up to your appointments. He'll make every excuse in the book why he didn't show up. He doesn't want to fix spa's any longer (says he makes no money). Then why show up!!! He was scheduled one last time to fix my spa for a leak, I wasn't going to be there, so I left a check for him. Guess what? He came, took the check, cashed it an did NO work!!! He stated he was to busy and would refund my money, it's been over a week. NO CALL, NO check or refund! He loves to blame others why he's horrible at his job, see the BBB for more reviews along with other sites. This guy is a thief in my book. Thinking about calling the police, submitted a claim with the BBB, and going to take him to small claims court if I don't get my $$ back by 6-20-17....While I'm at it, maybe the IRS should check on him.......(since he requires a check in his name, not the companies). Let's hear your excuse now Rudy! UPDATE: 6-20-17 Apparently he saw this review and he stated "Since you called me a thief and slandered my name I'm keeping the $30 for the repair I did on the tee". There would be no review if he sent the money back when he said he would.

Really long story. I have saved all texts between Rudy and myself. I'm currently in the process of seeking legal action against him. I bought a hot tub that was advertised on Craigslist on 5/20/2013. "Free delivery" meant he would deliver it to my house for free, but I'd have to get it into the back yard myself to the tune of a couple hundred bucks. I couldn't afford to hire a crane at the time, so he offered to store it for me until I hired a crane. After over a year of texting back and forth, I found out that first he sold the circuit board to the unit, then he sold the unit altogether because he "needed to come up with some cash fast." I tried to be very understanding of his situation, but his communication was lacking. 4/17/14 he indicated he'd have a full refund or replacement in 30 days. Nothing until 7/19/14 (after ignoring me on 6/9/14). "I give you my word," would have a refund in October. 9/11/14, I threatened Small Claims Court, 9/12/14 he said, "They don't enforce payment," asked me to be patient. 9/23/14 I texted with my new address, he asked who I was, then said 1 week for payment. No payment. 11/15/14 I wrote him, no response. 11/28/14 wrote him back and still no response. I have contacted a lawyer, but am also considering contacting local news agencies to help derail this fraud. 4/17/14 "I am a man of honor."

Aug, 2013 Shasta Pools referred me to Rudy for Spa repairs they do not do even though they installed the spa. Rudy was punctual, completed the job on time and the pump is still running. Dec, 2013 the other pump went out, took 1 1/2 wks to repair; at 2-1/2 wks it's making whining / whirling noises and runs slow and then fast. Rudy refuses to return calls.

I was given a hot tub/spa from a friend in shambles. Pump/motor/wiring/hoses where disconnected from the spa. I thought it would never run. Found Rudy's ad on craigslist, he came out, in 2 hrs the whole spa was running fine. When he told me the bill, I was shocked how reasonable it was. Thank you, Sean

A few years ago, we purchased a house in Fountain Hills, not long after that we had a problem with the pump in the hot tub. Rudy's name was on the owners manual, so we called about replacing the pump - he promtly came out and took care of the repair. Last summer a leak was discovered in the hot tub. Again we contacted Rudy - he sent us an invoice, which we promptly paid, and the leak is still not repaired. While I understand leaks are hard to find and fix, it seems like it should be fixed by now - as it has been 6 months. Rudy is very slow to respond to our emails/calls. He's not a bad guy, but should be more responsive and let customers know what is going on. I still don't know if our leak will ever been repaired.

Rudy was prompt in being here when he said. We had just bought a used spa and were having trouble getting it going properly. Within minutes Rudy diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I would definitely reccommend him. Thank you Rudy.

This is an update to a prior post. Rudy's name is not the greatest on this site. I recently had tried to give him business replacing a spa pump. After 3 opportunities to come out and finish the job he did not show. I then found these other reviews and became very worried that he was going to take my money and run. After I posted negative remarks on craigslist to get his attention, he promptly called me back. He was happy to refund my money. He's not a bad person. But I would definitely advise him to call and let people know why he has to cancel an appt to do a job. People get worried when their money is gone and a job isn't getting done.

This is Rudy Cervantez and I want to clear up this situation . I was out to this customers house on 4-18 . I replaced a fuse and a pressure switch , I charged him $86 dollars . If you own a spa and had it serviced then you are aware that in most cases you cant even get a service guy to look at your spa for $86 dollars before a part has even been replaced . I always try to save my customers money and thats why I offered to sell him a used pump . I told the customer I couldnt make it out the next day wich was a thursday . I did tell him I would go out on Friday , again I got backed up and couldnt make it . I did call him on Friday , his phone rang about ten times without going to voicemail so I hung up . If he checked his call history he would have seen that I had called . So if you look at the dates I was only given two days before my name was slanderd . I am not a fraud . I am one of the most honest and fair service companies out there . I do have two other complaints on kudzu and both of those have been resolved . I already contacted this customer and agreed to refund his deposit .
a businesses in colorado gave me the name of a spa service. Rudy Cervantes was glad to take my money and promised he would return the following week with a mother board he has not done so and will not answer the phone.what can i do?

I have already resolved this issue about a month after the customer posted this complaint . I may have took some time returning the customers calls but I did return her call . I had explained to her that the circuit board was on back order and it would take longer than I had initially told her . I repaired her spa and the customer was satisfied .
I purchased a hot tub with cover and stairs with new stain. Keep being told it will arrive each week. Now he is not answering phone or returning phone calls. Rudy Cervantes do you have anything to say after cashing my check and not competing sale with me?

I have completed this job as promised . I was being held back because the cover was not done . As soon as the cover was complete , I delivered it and restained the spa . I started using kudzu to promote my business . Unfortunately it has done opposite . When a customer posts a complaint thats all other customers see . They are not informed by the complaintant that the jobs have been complete . I have been in the business going on 11 years . I am one of the most knowledgeable technicians in the business . I take pride and always guarantee my work . I always try to give customers different options to save them money . Ive saved customers hundreds of dollars by giving them a correct evaluation of their spa which were previously misdiagnosed by other companies . So if you want honest quality service give me a call .
