Call Today to Make an Appointment!
Took my adopted puppy in for her final round of "necessary puppy vaccines" which were supposed to be included with our adoption fees, A-Quality vet had offered the vaccinations to the rescue organization. Nope we were charged. But Anyways, we didnt even bring that up. They supposedly told my puppys foster mom that her mange, that she had contracted at the puppy mill she was rescued from, had been cured. She had been receiving the medicated baths for this. It was not cured. Just by looking at her and explaining to the doctor she was scratching a lot, he did not see anything wrong. He insisted she probably had food or environmental allergy. Well, after he made her bleed with the rabies injection, we left. Poor dog was up all night scratching and by the end of the week the hair on her face had all come off. We took her to another vet, they took a skin sample and confirmed mange!! So we recently got a card in the mail from A-Quality, saying my dog was due for a list of shots and tests. Rabies, is required by law every 3 years!! Not every year. My dog does not need more shots or fecal tests. Vaccines are pushed to make money here! Not in patients best interest. Took our dog somewhere else. Thankfully we did not get her spayed here, they gave us the same "quotes" for unnecessary meds & procedures similar to the other review I read on here. Place is a rip off.

I just wanted to say that A Quality Care Vet was by far the best vet I have ever taken my cat to. I called them on a Sunday morning and they were able to get my cat an appointment that day. I brought my cat in to get tested for ringworm because I had it and the vet not only helped with my cat but was also helpful to me for my situation as well. She was very attentive toward my cat and seemed truly concerned about my entire situation. When I called to get the test results she not only asked how my cat was doing she was also concerned about me. The prices were very reasonable as well not to mention my cat seemed to like her and she hates every vet Ive ever taken her to. I will never take my cat anywhere else! Thank you A Quality Care Vet.

I was happy to have found a great, personalized experience at A-Quality. The staff is curteous and takes time to care for your pet and speak with you. Their pricing is competitive and their service is better than most vets in my area, including one I used for 13 years! Their doctors are experience and caring and their equipment behind the scenes is state-of-the-art. My dog recently had elective surgery done here. The Dr. who performed the surgery had an excellent background and rang true to his reputation. The surgery was clean, perfect and healed promptly. I was quoted a moderate price range and they came right in between. I received 2 additional quotes from local vets which came in at the high end only, and with no reputable vet on staff. I feel it is important for all dog owners to get an annual heartworm test, be on prevention (much cheaper than treating heartworm!), distemper, leptospriosis (with all our lakes in Michigan-who doesn't go upnorth?)and bordetella if your dogs is EVER near another dog. It is the responsibility of the pet owner and too many are irresponsible. I don't feel this office has ever added a service I didn't want or need to care for my dog. Anytime I've been in, I left with an understanding of the best plan for my dog. It's easy to get away with the bare minimum at a place like the humane society that regularly kills thousands of animals each year, and receives donations to do so. Thank you A-Quality Care for real service!

Ever hear of bait and switch. I am new to the area and wanted to get my dog spayed. I had called around to get prices. This office gave me a quote of $75 for blood work and $179-$200 for the procedure and meds. I brought my dog in the office and had the blood work drawn. $75 turned into $150 after adding in office visit charges and heartworm test and bordetello vaccine, which I was told was absolutely necessary. Later in the day I received a call stating that my total bill for the procedure would be an additional $360. When I told them that that was 200 more than I was quoted, I was told "sorry". I was lucky enough to get a hold of the humane society who agreed to take the blood results from this vet and finish the procedure for the price i was quoted by A Quality Care. After requesting that the results be sent to them, they offered to take off $100 and not give my dog the iv fluids, which the day before I was told she definitely needed. I told them that it still was not the price that I was quoted and i would not sacrifice the quality of care I am giving my pet to save money, for myself or them. Thank you to the Westland Humane Society, and shame on you A Quality Care!
