And I'm still managing this beautiful community Lamplighter Village. I must be doing something right :) The pool will be open much earlier this year!! How exciting!! Unfortunately costly renovations to the pool and necessary approvals did not allow me to do that last year, but this is a new year! We've also got brand new soccer goals!! Movie night and pool party coming soon!! Come visit! Take care everyone :)

wow who ever said the new manager jewel was horrible was correct. She decided to wait until summer to start to resurface the pool and that started in may...here it is end of june and still super hot and no pool. everytime i call in to get something fixed it never gets done. if you want something fixed you better call 3 or 4 times. she seems nice at first but once you sign that lease she is rude. STAY AWAY!!!

The new manager jewel is horrible.... She does not care about the community. She is racist. She also tried to rip my family off. I enjoyed living here until she came along and she is the reason I won't be staying also I talked to a few neighbors they have issues with her as well.... Horrible manager she needs to go..... Lexi✌

Roads are a work in progress due to construction work from the city and management needs desperate change but overall it's a decent place for the price. Homes are a lot bigger than what you can get in an apartment and much cheaper. It's also close enough to walk to Kroger's, some restaurants, and other shops. Makes it very convenoent. Bus stop is also in front of the community. Neighbors are nice. I wouldn't say it's run-dowwn place but manager needs to focus on cleaniness and appearance of some people's homes. LOVE the clubhouse-use it all the time and it's beautiful and ever since I guess they did some work on the pool it's good size and clean. For price and appearance i d recommend but for anyone who like to complain or ikes management that listens i'd say pass.

I've lived here for 12 years. When I first moved in, it was a decent place (not great - but not bad). Then management changed (Kris must be management, because no one would write that about Lamplighter unless they worked for them). Yes, the clubhouse is usually available for a deposit, which we had no problems with. Whoop-dee-doo! When I first moved in, my rent was $267/mo. NOW ~ my bill is over $500/mo. This also includes water, sewer and trash, but give me a break. Every time I turn around, they're increasing the rent. I've also signed a "lease to own" shed that I've now paid $2500 for and the office is still charging me an arm & a leg to get out of my lease. We had a drug dealer move in next door to us. He lived there for years before the cops finally came knocking (thanks to a neighbor - not the office). Problem is - another drug user/dealer moved in. They are everywhere - neighbor on another side sales prescription meds out of her home. My neighbors little girl was playing outside (she's about 6 - 7). She says "I smell pot!" - I'm thinking, how does she even know what pot smells like? My house and my neighbors house was shot with a BB gun. I called the office because the perpetrator was still shooting. The mgmt told me to call police - by the time cops arrived it was over & our word against theirs. The office does nothing. They put up signs that you'll be fined $100 for loud music, but how is it inforced? It's not.

I have lived there for 4yrs. gets worse by the minute-not only have they raised the rent-it's way too much for what you get-putting up with the thugs-cops profiling the people who live here and now frigging rats are invading my space-I think its time to go.

This is my second review of this place. When I read other reviews I can relate to what they are feeling. We have continued to make several complaints about loud music but nothing seems to get done. All residence were told they now have an Officer on call and patrol but I have yet to see any nor any improvements. When some thing bad happens here we get a letter asking for help if any one has any information. Hello, we have been asking for the offices help for a long time and what answer do we get? Call the police but by the time they get here the incident is over and all they do is ask a bunch of stupid questions that amount to nothing being done as it's your word against the trouble makers. Wow! Usually it takes them twenty five minutes to up to an hour to get here. At times I think that if we were in a rich neighborhood their arrival time would probably be in about five to ten minutes. I don't care about the club house nor the pool. The rent is too stinking high and before they raise it we get a letter stating the reason is either for improvements or a property value increase. Funny I didn't see my rent go down when a lot of property values went down after the housing market collapsed. I still don't known what I'm paying for in improvements either. I could go on but they limit me to 250 words. Find another place to live because when I'm able I'm GONE!

The place is not a place you would wont to raise children, it's alot of drugs, late night walkers running through your yeard, and I have never see them have have any thing for any other children but the spanish children, the people in the offices are not nice at all they act like witches. If I had the power to shut them down I would, I have hired a lawyer to futher check on there back ground

Pool AND Clubhouse are NOT CLOSED. Clubhouse has always been open and is available for people to reserve for any occassion and the pool has been open since the begining of June! Office is currently under new management and are trying the best to fix past issues. Community has well-lit and clean paved streets, paved off-street parking, and on-site management.
