Ken helped me and my family deal with our reactive yellow lab, Gus. Gus isn't your typical lab--he doesn't like people or other dogs--so I kept him at home for years avoiding the problem. Ken took the time to understand not just the behavior but the reasons why Gus was so reactive and gave us an individualized training plan. So many trainers think that one method fits all dogs, but Ken was open to what would work best for our dog. He gave us the tools and techniques (clicker, training vest, and lots of treats) to help Gus become calmer and less reactive when he meets new people and see dogs. Through Ken's patience, perspective and deep knowledge and understanding of the K-9 brain, we are working with Gus to be the ideal family pet. Thanks, Ken!

Ken has done an amazing job rehabilitating our Mastiff mix rescue. When other professionals turned their back, he patiently worked with us to overcome our dog's fear aggression issues. Ken recognized right away that our dog was fearful and anxious and so we started to work on reducing his anxiety levels. He has come such a long way - we can honestly say that if it weren't for Ken, our dog would not be here today.

Ken has a gift, he took anxious and overwhelmed giantschnoodle pet owner- me and my giant pup and trained both of us! I can't tell you how many times on a given walk- I thank ken. Butler(my giant) loves and adores training and bordering with him. Honestly if Butler had to choose between me and Ken- well Ken would win. Ken looks at the dog & owner on a case by case basis, he gets to know both and then helps form a training plan for each. He's patience and caring manner made both Butler and I calm and eager to learn. I honestly can not imagine working with anyone else. Butler and I have improved but have plans to continue our journey with Ken!!! You nor your pup will not be disappointed your working with Ken!

Ken gets results with dogs and people. We've worked with him for 7+ years and can't thank him enough. Our 9 year old miniature poodle became aggressive with other dogs after being attacked several times. He stayed with Ken for 2 weeks and learned not to be aggressive. He's a happy boy now, usually wagging. He walks on loose leash and is extremely well behaved most of the time. He still whines and barks when he gets stressed and so Ken has taught skills to reduce this (ignoring works wonders). Our 2 year old poodle is very intelligent and neurotic. He was so stressed that he stopped eating and his coat lost color. He recently stayed with Ken for 9 days and came home happy, better trained and with color in his coat. We are continuing to work with Ken periodically and are extremely appreciative. He is kind, patient and gets results for and with us. If you need help, please do yourself a favor and contact Ken. Your dog will thank you. And the investment will pay off for years to come. It has for us.

We rescued our female cattle dog/lab mix about 9 years ago as a 4 month old puppy. She is an extremely bright dog who is great with children and protective of her family members. She loves to play soccer, swim and fetch...BUT...we couldn't take her to day care and had a constant "fear" of how she would react to other dogs after being bitten at one day care and after a few aggressive episodes with other dogs. We completed a basic training course with her as a puppy and hired 2 other prominent trainers in Atlanta to help us deal with her social issues. It was not until we found Ken that our lives changed. Ken did what no one else could! Our beloved dog is now going to day care while interacting with the other dogs without incident and has even accepted another rescue dog into our family. Ken helped my husband and I to understand how our actions affected our dog and how we could help shape her behavior. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Ken did!!

Ken is the best there is! He's worked with all of our dogs (and, of course, their human parents) and it's made a world of difference. Our issues ranged from fear/aggression to shyness to bullying and within an hour, Ken had the whole pack at his feet. It was beautiful to watch. Ken does not believe in harsh correction - rather, he likes the dogs to figure things out for themselves. And by challenging the dogs, they get mentally stimulated and then calm and tired. Ken has also helped to improve our confidence and has shown us how to better communicate with our beloved dogs.

Ken Dupcak is the best dog trainer we have ever known. We have 3 dogs and they have been working with Ken for the past 2 years. We call him "Coach K" because he is very passionate about his profession and explains his techniques extremely well. His philosophy is that Dogs and their Owners both need to be trained!! So true!! For training, in home boarding or obtaining general dog psychology, Ken is your trainer! He is the best out there!!!

We are a busy family of five with a 7yr old, 6 yr old, and 2 yr old. We thought it was time to add an adorable black lab puppy to our household. WHOA!!! I have had labs in the past and remembered their energy levels, but it is very hard to deal with when you have 3 small children running around at the same time! I could already see that if we didn't get help fast there wouldn't be enough room in the house for all of us. Ken saved the day. He was able to teach her the basic commands needed to help us better control her, as well as teach us how to follow some rules with her while she grows. Although she is still high energy she has more control now and we can help manage it better. She now "fits" in with our family. We could not be happier with the results we have seen thanks to Ken. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a new puppy!!

I recently adopted an 8 month old lab puppy. He is a great dog but exhibits some reactive behavior and nervous aggression. I have worked with Ken once so far and I can already tell what a difference it is making. I graduated with a BS degree in animal science and I can confidently say that Ken knows what he is doing. He has the resources and the training experience necessary to help dogs with behavioral problems and certainly has the ability to help those that just need some obedience training. If you're looking for a friendly and personable trainer that will go out of their way to help you and your dog become happier then I'd recommend giving Ken a call!
