I'm a 43 year old guy who was frustrated with my results in trying to gain muscle and with Gary's workout program I was able to see more results than I had in the past. He also discussed with me the importance of a well-rounded program so I can continue to see these results. I believe the most beneficial aspect of having Gary as a trainer is he is as commited (or more) to you achieving your goals as you are. If you are serious about reaching your fitness goals, Gary is a great trainer.

I have used Above All Fitness and Gary Royals for my granddaughter off and on for 6 years. She is inclined to be quite sedentary -- a couch potato. When she was 6, Gary kept everything fun. I am not certain she really knew she was exercizing. Now that she is 13, she understands the consequences of not exercizing but that does not make it any easier. Gary has made it easy. He wrote a program for her that keeps her interested and focused. We now go together to exercize which is also special. I could not be more pleased with everything Gary and Above All Fitness have done for my granddaughter.

My wife and I were clients of Above All for almost a year and really liked the service we received from Gary. Being 170# and 6' was too thin and not where I wanted to be. My goal was to gain muscle and weight and look better. After a few months I was already gaining weight and lifting more than I had ever before. We have since srtopped going but not due to quality of service only due to my wife leaving town for several months due to business. If past or current clients cant give a review then who can you rely on?

I am 31, male, and trying to add lean muscle. I choose Gary based on his backgound and overall experience. I've been with Gary for about 8 weeks. I came to Gary to have a sound plan that was efficient, used the latest research, and was measurable. Wow! The change in my body composition in the last 8 weeks has been better that the last 2 years of me doing it own my own, and the best part Gary's rates are lower than most trainers. Gary is very confident not arrogant. Ask yourself would you want a confident trainer or one that says "oh this might work." He also has the people in place for developing a eating plan that is easy to following allowing you to eat good food. Follow the plan and it will work for you. He has many different plans available to meet every budget.

Last year I was a 43 year female that was 150 lbs overweight looking for a compassionate trainer that could partner with me in my weight loss journey. I was fearful of the trainers I'd seen in the mega gyms. I wanted someone who cared about me and my journey. I met Gary and felt instantly comfortable. After 6 months I lost 49 lbs! I was ecstatic! Today, 10+ months later, I am continuing successfully toward my ultimate goal just as enthusiastic as I was the first week. I feel great both physically and mentally. I recommend Gary because he is knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and fun! He puts the "personal" in personal trainer. Gary, the program and his facility exceeded my expectations!

I have worked out with Gary for 2 years now. While I was in pretty good shape to begin with, and weight loss was not an issue, I wanted to be more dedicated to a REGULAR fitness regime. Gary crafted a program both at his facility and at home. I stuck to it, and I am now in the best shape of my life---at 45! I keep going because it has become a regular way of life for me. Get up, brush teeth, eat breakfast, work out, etc. I hope to keep this up as long as feasible. The pay off with Gary is WELL worth it. He will keep you going, sometimes whether you like it or not! The man knows his stuff....

My 17 year old son has been working out with Gary for about 4 months and has lost 18 lbs! I am very pleased with his progress and Gary's program for him. My hope was for him to move more and lose weight while developing the desire to get fit and healthy. He has done this with Gary's guidance. A workout program was designed for him to use at the gym and at home. If you have a teenager that needs to exercise but is not self motivated, give it a try. Having them go to a private session and learn how to use the equipment and feel comfortable is key. There is no peer pressure here. There is also accountability when working with Gary. It is now up to my son to continue on his own with our encouragement. I think a good foundation has been layed. Thank you Gary.

A 45 year old female who has been a client of Gary's for the past 2 years.I was one of those woman who always gave up easily and never stayed with a workout program.I look forward to my early morning workouts and physically and mentally I feel great. Even my husband is impressed!!

I've always wanted to go to a personal trainer, but thought I could never afford it. I was overweight, a couch potato, afraid of developing health problems, and approaching 50, when I decided I had to change. Gary helped me change my attitude about fitness and exercise. He gently coached me and showed me how and most importantly, why I needed to exercise to stay healthy and get fit. Along with a change in diet (I went to Jenny Craig), Gary developed an exercise program specifically for me, that helped me lose 45 pounds in 8 months. I had lost weight before, but have never seen this type of results. Exercise changes your body in a way, dieting alone can't. I have always heard this, but I have now experienced this myself. I look fabulous and feel great. Most importantly feel good about myself. This is the best money I have ever spent.

I am a 12 year old boy, active in sports. I went to Gary because I wanted to learn how to properly train and to get fit. He taught me a variety of ways to stretch and lift weights. A lot of this I now do at home. Gary was a great trainer because he pushed me to do my best, and he was fun. I want to go back if my mom will let me.

I was a client of this establishment. I found the owner - who was also the only trainer - to be arrogant. I went to another center and had great results. I also know he solicits comments from his clients to write these reviews.

Male, 14. I started working out with Mr. Gary at the age of 13 to gain muscle and strength in my upper body to improve my baseball and basketball game.I enjoyed the environment in which I worked out, including the cool music and the caring trainer who helped me achieve my results.Being stronger has improved both my games and plus it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Mr. Gary and his gym for teenagers looking to improve their strenth and gain muscle.

I started working with Gary at Above All Fitness because I needed someone to motivate and inspire me to stay on track with my exercise goals. I knew what I should be doing, but with 3 kids and a part time job, I found plenty of excuses not to exercise. He was recommended to me by 2 neighbors who were consistent and successful with their exercise programs. Gary is extremely knowledgeable about what it takes to lose weight and tone, and he planned a tailored program for my specific goals. He is funny and personable, but very serious about keeping you on track. He wants to see you succeed and would prefer clients who are committed. You just don't want to let Gary down! I promise, if you follow his program for you, you will reach your goal. A personal trainer does seem like a luxury, but it is well worth the money for the results you achieve. Having someone guide you through the process makes it much easier and more fun. Once you've reached your goals, he will design a home or gym program for you to maintain your fitness level.
