on 1/25/10, absolute auto charged me $1108 for repairs to my mercury sable. these repairs included one NEW radiator, among other things. on 7/5/10 (less than SIX months later), the car had to be towed back to absolute because radiator fluid was leaking into the transmission. the car just stopped. i had the car towed and faxed a copy of the 1/25 receipt that showed absolute had installed a brand new radiator. when i called to see if they were repairing my car, john (mgr) said that the radiator was bad & that i needed to call the radiator shop that had supplied it. i talked to the radiator shop owner & he said i had to talk to the manufacturer in order to get the part warrantied. so i called absolute again & told them that the work should still be under warranty & that i was not responsible for any more repair costs. john then told me that they would not touch the car....... he insisted that absolute was not responsible. after talking to his boss, john told me that the radiator shop would replace the faulty radiator and pay for the transmission flush BUT there would be a charge to me for labor!! i paid labor charges, picked up vehicle, and will NEVER go back to absolute. they advertise that they are cheap and that is because you don't get what you pay for. you get less. and if there is a problem, you pay again for what should have been done correctly in the first place. BAD BUSINESS!
