** WARNING ** Stay away from Absolute Dental. Worse experience I've ever had, not to mention the equipment! The tools were worn and unsanitary. Make sure YOU turn off the TV before anyone works on you. My dentist watched the news the whole time while operating on me. I ended up losing my two back teeth because of poor service. All I needed was fillings. ** WARNING **

I had a very small cavity on my front teeth. The dentist here(who speak English/ Vietnamese/ Chinese)spend 5 seconds looking at my teeth. Within 5 secs, he decided that crown must be done! I asked him what about filling. He said that CROWN is the ONLY OPTION! When I insisted only interesting in filling, he said that he couldn't do filling for it and crown is the only way to go. It took this guy 5 secs to look at my teeth and firmly decided crown's the only option. Knowing for sure that going for crown is unnecessary, I explained to him that I'm only interested in filling this time and if it happens that the filling doesn't last long and break, I will consider doing crown next time. This dentist basically just refused perfome filling right away without considering to take a 2nd look at my teeth again to make sure filling option is still possible in this case. I was stunt by his reaction and the way he treated his patient. I have had this same teeth filled before. My past dentist never once mentioned about I have such a bad cavity on this teeth and never once suggested anything about I probably should consider crown, root canal..etc. My past dentist actually mentioned that it's just a small cavity and went for filling without any hesitation. The 1st time visited here made me feel the dentists here are ABSOLUTE LOOKING FOR MONEY/PROFIT instead of considering what best for patients. Luckily, I made the right decision to walk out and went to another dentist.

I went in to have a filling.They are very unprof.Secretarys were gigleing & talking about guys.Felt like a highschool classroom.Dentist comes out & puts both arms around em like flirting.Took me to the back with just a glance said i need a xtraction,then said a crown.All they want is the most $ they can get.He scraped n tapped on my tooth w/ sum tool w/ out telling me he was.I got up n stormed out.Dont ever go there or u'll be writeing a review like this.The office on cheyenne is a discrace & the reason people get traumatized of dentist's.

ALL THE OFFICES ARE INCOMPETENT AND PERFORM POOR INCOMPETENT WORK. MANY CAUSE UNNECESSARY PAIN. Please check out ALL the complaints online about Absolute Dental. You may not realize it but two of the Absolute Dentals in Las Vegas now have to get pre-approval on all dental work, even dental work that most insurances allow to be done immediately and then billed to the insurance. They will not tell you this. The reason they must get pre-approval is due to unethical practices, over-billing, doing work that was not necessary, doing poor work, etc. They received so many complaints that pre-approval on work became a condition. Absolute Dental has received an abundance of complaints. The office in Pahrump, Nevada completely closed, without notice and disappeared a short time after they opened. Work done at the North Las Vegas branches and West Cheyenne is horrible. ALL the offices, not just the ones mentioned, have a habit of severely overbooking. There will be only one or two dentists on duty and they will book 4-6 people per hour throughout the day plus add walk-ins to their day. A simple first exam and xrays will take more than two hours, and add teeth cleaning to that and you will be there three to five hours. Most of their offices, meaning the ones that have not been penalized with pre-approval first, want you to get work done that first day so they can lock you in with them since most insurances will not pay for a second exam and xrays or to fix bad work.

Great care without the stuff you don't need. Did you ever get the feeling at the dentist's office that your bill is paying for all the extra luxury? Absolute concentrates on care for the patient. I didnt mind that maybe the waiting room was a little smaller than other dentists, I got great care for a great price.

They are expensive, hire dentists fresh out of schools, and simply do not care. They push for profits, that's it. They would do a root canal on a small cavity if it meant more money for them. There are much better quotes out there. Same with those dental offices that charge little for exam and then a fortune for the actual treatment. Ripoff!

I get my cleanings done at another Absolute Dental location, but this one is closer to where I work. I found this one because I was in alot of pain at work and needed to get my tooth filled right away. I had the same great experience here that I have at the one on Lake Mead.

I have used several Absolute Dental locations, this one included, and I have never had even the slightest complaint. I always got good service and top quality care!

I have used them several times over the past three years. I think they are the type of establishment that is in it for the money and I don't feel like they really care about the customers. I got the feeling that they are sort of a dental "chop-shop". Their overall work is OK but nothing to brag about. I have had exams, cleanings, crowns, etc. done at this office. The cleanings went pretty fast, a little too fast. The doctors don't really consult with you they just do a quick run-down and tell you to set up your next appointment. They told me I needed 8 crowns, I let them do the first two and then stopped. One of the crowns fell off a few months. I have waited from 30 minutes to over an hour for my appointment. They never send me any reminders in the mail for periodic cleanings/exams. They lost a good customer! Don't waste your time with this chain, find a smaller practice that cares about their customers.

The assistant that was cleaning my teeth was watching tv and polished my face instead of my teeth then she squirted water in my eye! I will never ever go here again!

You are definitely "Just a number" at Absolute Dental. There's no feeling of customer service. You may as well be on an assembly line. The sad part is they charge out the ying-yang for their services. Nah. Don't go there.

Okay, my kids did have a relatively good visit with their dentist. The kids' rooms are decorated, have a kids tv playing do a little to distract from the dentist visit. This is my only positive thing to say about this office. Trying to make an appointment is like pulling teeth (pardon the pun). The staff is belligerent and lazy. They over schedule their appointments so both waiting rooms feel more like zoos than anything else. The dental staff is just as bad or worse than the front desk staff. And you wait in the exam chairs for upwards of 15 minutes after waiting in the lobby for twice as long. On your way out the door, you pay and even this experience is painful as they are unorganized and apathetic. I really don't recommend this practice.

I've taken my 2 daughters there for a few years now and they are great with them, very calming and reassuring. They even let my daughter feel the brush on her hand before the cleaning. Never a long wait and the dentist is very good at explaining procedures (fillings) to the child. I really recommend this office for any of your childs dental needs.
