My first time ever in San Diego was spent at the Travelodge behind Adam's. I don't normally patronize "motel restaurants", but I did try Adam's my first morning in town....and went back 4 more times the same week. I've since been back several more times. It's always a treat, and the staff is skilled, well-trained, and friendly. Just make sure you get there in time to finish up by their very early closing time of 11:30 or so in the MORNING.

Adam's has very good breakfasts at a great price. My eggs or omelets have always been perfectly cooked to order, and the wait staff have alwasy been pleasant.

Adam's Steak & Eggs has the best overall breakfast service and value in the Mission Valley area. Each time I have the opportunity to have breakfast in the area, I know exactly where to go...Adam's Steak & Eggs!

Adam's steak and eggs is what you would imagine from a local, old fashioned breakfast spot. Free coffee, friendly service. And, they serve grits! So, nothing to write home about, but not disappointing either.

The first time I ate at Adam's Steak and Eggs was five o'clock in the morning. Even then the staff was friendly, the food was good and the coffee was hot, as it has been every time since. The prices are reasonable.
