I can not stress strongly enough that this is not a company you want to do business with. The cost and time estimate will be significantly higher than you expect. And more importantly, they require cash in advance once all product is loaded from your old location. Once you are at your new location and have damages, you have no recourse. I called the day after the move regarding missing property. Despite numerous calls, it has been 60 days and I have not received 1 returned phone call. I expressed that the items missing were extremely important and valuable. With this being a cash transaction you have no recourse. The foreman and crew spoke limited english causing delays in instructions. Be careful, they may change their address. See reviews under same name but at an adress on oakcliff industrial

I hired Advantage moving to help in my move in Atlanta area. First of all, they got to my house three hours later than expected. Secondly, the Movers raised the price once they got to my house. If I did not agree, they were ready to leave eventhough I planned this move for a month. Lastly, the people they use are so unprofessional; they will most likely break one of your valuable items during the move. They broke one of the legs of the dining table. I urge you to stay away from this company. You will be disappointed as most of have here.

I highly recommend Advantage Moving & Storage. From my first phone call to James to the moment the truck and movers finished the job, it was a very good experience. Truly professional and hard working staff! Friendly and easy to work with! If I move again - I will be calling THIS company for sure!

Like everyone else they were late! They were to come 1-2 pm and came at 3:40. There was a communication problem with the foreman. How is he in charge when you can barely understand him? They had three guys and one dolly. Which meant the wasn moved slow, until we provided an dolly! Went over the time allowed and had to pay extra. Some of them was moving one thing at a time like a lamp or rail. I had to participate in my own move. They con you by going slow and not finishing in a timely manner, making you pay extra. They suck so bad I would not recommend them to anyone. I will be filing a complaint!

I scheduled them two weeks in advance for my move on the last day of the month. They assured me their guys would arrive between 2 and 3 pm. At 5pm, I hadn't heard a word! I finally called and got a lot of attitude, but no explanation or any useful information. I had to be out of my apartment THAT day and had to get to the vet to pick up my cat before 6pm that night. I finally gave up and went to get the cat and spent the night at my mom's. There was no indication that they ever showed up that night. They REFUSED to refund my $100 deposit. I'm working with the BBB now to get it back. RUN LIKE HECK!

This company is absolutely ridiculous! They were 2 hours late, hardly spoke any english, threw in extra charges to wrap the tv and mattress - so we told them no just wrap them in the blankets like we were told they would do in the first place, but of course they didn't, damaged several furniture items of ours, absolutely destroyed the hallways to our brand new home, as well as our old home. Did not put furniture back together when they dropped it off, said "long day, we have to go" and left. We are in a lawsuit currently with this company for over $4,000 worth of damages. I ADVISE not to use this company!

Required a $100 deposit, which I was told was refundable, however in the fine print of the contract it stated it was not. I was going to cancel, but decided not to after realizing my deposit would not be returned. The day of the move, the movers were 1.5 hours late, barley spoke English, and smelled of alcohol. When I scheduled the move, I was told it could be done in less than 3 hours, however once the movers loaded the truck and drove it 8 miles to our new place, they made me pay them for 4 hours or would not unload it (even though they had only been working for 1.5 hours at that point). Plus they threw in extra costs not mentioned up front for moving mattresses, TVs, glass, etc. My advice... don't be fooled by the low hourly rate - its worth the extra money to go with a more expensive reputable company.

I scheduled a move with them on Friday, 5/25 at 5:00 PM . I told them that I only wanted my large items moved - the move was only 5 miles away. Their driver got lost - I live in Dallas, GA. - and they cancelled out on me at 4:00. They said they would do the move on Saturday, but could not give me a time. I just cancelled, and we did the move ourselves.

Never on time, 4 hours late, never called, poor customer service and what a rip off to transport and store 1 bedroom apartment for $750. My original quote was for $280. When I wanted to store my stuff when my house didn't close on time they said it was free. Did not disclose that I would have to pay for travel time and unloading time, which the original guy told me was included. I asked for a confirmation statement/ price for my delivery from storage to house and "the computer was broken" then the charged me a back fee for transporting, unloading, reloading, and transporting stuff to new house which I was under the impression that was included. My advice- don't use this company and go with a flat fee company, that way you won't have to pay if they get stuck in traffic or sit around yapping on their cell phone smoking on a cigarette.
