I own a house in Atlanta and needed some deck work done. They came over very quickly and fixed it the same day! Even the quote was very reasonable. Great service and will definitely use them again for more handyman services.

Affordable Handyman is affordable.... if you have extra money to pay a second contractor to fix their crap work. I had them work on fixing my bathroom, and making some repairs to my drywall. The guys rarely showed up on time, and then when I tried to contact the owner Jay (who by the way looks like he is giving himself 5 stars on here....twice!) he never returned my calls. I'm reporting these guys to the Better Business Bureau. They suck.

I called several Atlanta handy men, and got various estimates.I chose affordable handyman because they were prompt, courteous, and offered the best price. I had a list of home repairs, inside and outside my home. This company was able to do them all. Lots of companies wanted to do pieces, or certain jobs. I needed someone to take care of all of my problems. Affordable Handyman did that in a very toimely manner, and at a very reasonable rate. I would definitely reccomend them to all my friends, and neighbors. Thank you very much, and please keep up the professional work, and attitudes. Thank you very much. Thomas William

I called several Handyman companies in Atlanta, and got 4 estimates from 4 companies. I finally decided on Affordable Handyman. That decision was based on several things. The Craftsman they sent to my home was very knowledgeable. (more than the others) The price was a little better than the others, which is always a plus. But the craftmanship was outstanding. I was very impressed. They did everthing on my list. The other companies wanted to pick items and refer me to other companies for the remainder of my list. I would reccomend them to anyone who needs home repairs or renovations, They cleaned up well, respected my home, and guided me in areas i was not familiar with. I have recomended them to several of my family members, and they were satisfied as well. Thank you Affordable Handyman for an excellent job. I will always call you first. Thomas Williams

They remodeled my deck, and built new stairs, and did an addition to my bedroom, which the whole family loves. They also work on the weekends, which is great for my schedule.

Now I'm find out they are not up to code. Expensive, irresponsible. Spent a lot of money with these guys and owner never came out to check the work being done. I'm suing.

I just realized it was NOT Hunt who provided our service, but I guess he has a few men who work with him to do some of his 'extra' work?? I don't appreciate that. It would be nice to know whom to expect at my door, especially with what's been going on lately. Overall, the job was good, but you apparently need to know an 'average' price before you get the estimate. AND there is NO charge for estimates (check out website). So, apparently, Hunt does not screen out his workers as well as he should (according to his website and other reviewers). Don't accept the first estimate unless you truly believe it's fair and reasonable. Each handyman must charge their own prices, so you can get different prices.

No sense of ownership, some guy came to fix my bathroom, left the work halfway, took my money, stole my material, broke by toilet tank cover, bad quality work, Company does not return calls. I complained in BBB. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I called AH when I was estimating repairs for a house I was about to buy. Over the phone I had mentioned that the contractor would need to go into my attic and crawl space. I was told upfront that there would be a trip fee of $25. I was surprised when a woman in an economy car drove the contractor up to my home. She stayed in the car and ate her lunch. The contractor had brought no tools or even a flashlight to inspect my home. I gave him mine to use. The cost for a new sink stopper, masonry repair to 2 missing cinder blocks in the crawl space, replacement of the attic window and frame and to install, not buy, replacement carpet in my front room only was $10,000. Maybe that's normal. I don't think so. When I called and asked why my handyman had shown up in someone elses car without tools, I was told that he didn't have a vehicle and since he would not be doing repairs, he didn't have his tools. I'm not impressed.

Please, please, stay away!!! We had a a problem they said could be "fixed very easily". But whatever repair they did changed nothing. So this repair ended up costing us a lot of stress and of course, money. Luckily, the other company we hired gave us an honest estimate and fixed the problem. Also, one of the employees of the company told me that the company owner tells him to try to charge the customers more than what the actual price of the repair is. Anyway, once again, please choose someone else if you care for your home, your money and your stress level.

This is really a call center that finds the contractor for you and gives you their number. I got lucky but I can see why others had problems. The good thing is that once you have someone come out and you like them you can just call them directly and not pay the addl. 40% mark up this service charges.

I made an appointment via email and the handyman never showed up or called. I then contacted the company via email and they set up another appointment with another handyman. Again, no-show. As pleasant and responsive as the owner was in setting the appointments, the actual handymen did not follow through or even call. I think that they are a broker of handymen based on this experience (or rather non-experience)
