Do not use this company out of Conyers, Ga if even they were the last ac company on earth. very unprofessional and very poor customer service. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with regardless of service. spend your money elsewhere.I am currently looking into taking this company to court. They have been out to do service on my units twice with the units working for 3 days the first time and 7 days the second time.I have been trying to contact them for the past month; leaving messages everyday and they have never even returned my call. stay away from this company. I wish I could have given them ZERO STARS.
Initial Service was for freon. Second visit was because the AC unit was blowing heat; so they cam out and changed the circuit breaker. Third visit, I can't even get them to answer my calls or even return a phone call. They actually made my problem worst.

I'm thankful for Air Design, especially Hernando, who came out on schedule and diagnosed then repaired my a/c yesterday. The service was ordered through 2-10 HBW and it all went extremely well.

This company is horrible!! Beware!! They missed their window of 2pm - 6 and arrives at 7:30, without even a phone call, and doesn't go in crawl space but diagnoses the problem in a few minutes. First he said that it needs freon when it's not even blowing air upstairs but it's blowing downstairs. Then he said that it was a duct design problem when I've had the house for 12 years without any AC problems. I asked why does the heat blows out but not cool air and he said because air is heavy and heat is light. I asked him to leave at that point after going back and forward with my tenant and complained to 2-10 Home Warranty. If they continue to use their services, I'm going to cancel my agreement with them for hiring such incompetent repair companies. And all of these other complaints prove this point.

Air Design was sent out by American Home Shield to repair a furnace. The diagnosis was that the furnace needed to be replaced. Replace a Carrier with a inferior off brand TempStar system. The newly installed unit had the same problem as the one they replaced... blower wouldn't push out warm air. After replacement they determined it was a pressure issue with my gas line and was told to contact the gas company. GA Natural Gas resolved the problem at the meter in 15 mins. Strong likelihood a replacement furnace was never actually needed. The furnace was "covered" by American Home Shield but i had to pay Air Design $1,100 for "code modifications" (line set, secondary pan, float switch, duct modification, etc.) In total it took Air Design 6 trips to get the furnace working properly. Fast forward three months later and when i turn on the AC condensation pours out of unit (housed directly above the newly installed furnace). Air Design was sent out again by AHS and determined it was a busted evaporator coil. AC worked fine the previous season. Same story the EV coil would need to be replaced and "code modifications" would cost nearly $1,000 to install a new evaporator coil. I hired an independent HVAC contractor to evaluate and it turned out they hadn't made any of the modifications for the furnace repair other than a float switch, and were were attempting to charge me again for the same "modifications" for the AC. Stay away from both these companies they're not trustworthy.

Refereed by American Home Shield. After one visit, unit failed again. 2nd visit technician finds a leak in the evaporator and it needs to be replaced. They inform AHS that there are "uncovered modifications" required as part of the repair - Line Set, duct work modification, & drain modification. Following the repair, there was NO evidence that a line set was used or that any duct modification was necessary. In fact, they replaced the evaporator with a nearly identical unit from the same manufacturer as the one it was replacing. No success in getting anyone to contact me back for a refund of the work and parts they did not use.

This company is HORRIBLE and we think they sabotaged our outside units. Our main floor AC went out during 100° weather and they were contracted through AHW to come fix it. They said it was the compressor so they fix it in a reasonable time frame. Then not 2 weeks later the AC is not working on our top floor and lookie there it's the compressor on another unit. We went out of town and once back in town it was difficult to schedule them to return to fix it. So they were finally out last night from 5:30pm-7:40pm after I was told 12-4 window and when I called at 4pm was told 30 more mins then called again at 5pm and told 10 more mins. So we finally had heat upstairs and woke up the next morning to NO HEAT downstairs...... REALLY!?!?! Then when I call the AC company to complain I'm on hold for 11 mins then explain that I don't have heat on my main floor and they were just out the night before and the I wonder if the techs know what they are doing or sabotaging our units. The receptionist yells, yes yells, back at me "We do not do that. You need to call your insurance and schedule with them so they can approve us to come fix it." Unacceptable! If you break it you fix it at no cost to me. I'm also disappointed in AHW that they would associate themselves with such a horribly unprofessional and incompetent company. It says a lot about both companies. Looking elsewhere.

Keep away and Beware of this company! Air Design was recommended by American Home Shield (AHS). They sent 3 different techs over a period of 1.5 weeks to fix a simple air conditioning issue, and parenthetically, the temperature was over 100 degrees during that week. They ignored my 3 voice messages which each time I left, was after waiting on hold for about 25 minutes. They had zero urgency to correct and fix their mistake, and had not AHS intervened, it could've been another 2 weeks (or months or years....) or more before they returned to my house to correct their mistake. Their owner or manager, Maurice, made excuses and only responded quickly because AHS had intervened to get them to fix the problem immediately. The second tech disconnected a pipe and did not reconnect it which caused a few hundred dollars in water damage and mold in my basement, which the third tech verified was the previous tech's fault. Maurice the manager or owner promised to send someone to fix the damage and still has not kept his promise 2 weeks later (as of today with another 3 messages left). Of course, it's impossible to get Maurice back on the phone and in another week or two, if they do not get back to me, I am going to be forced to contact my attorney and take legal action to fix the damage they caused in my house (I took pictures of the damage and the mold). These are people who (maybe) have potential to do good and they do not care to become a professional outfit. Not to be trusted!

First American Home Warranty sent Air Design out about one of my air conditioning units not working. Milton, the technician, came out the morning after I called & had my AC running in no time. Since it was 94+ degree weather we are very pleased with Air Design & with the fast diagnosis of the problem by the technician.

Same story as many here. They were sent to us through our 2-10 home warranty. The technician hadn't arrived by the end of the given window (12-4), so I called to check in. After waiting on hold for 7 minutes after the call was answered by a live human, I disconnected and called back and was told, without apology, to expect someone by 5. I called 2-10 at 5:30 and canceled the call. If you've had a similar experience, please report them to your warranty company so that they might be removed from approved contractor lists.

They get ZERO stars!!! We have had no air for over a week. My 2-10 Warranty Company recommended this company. I had an appointment last Wednesday from 4-8 pm. I turned my life upside down to get my kids driven to and from their activities by neighbors so that I would be sure to be here the entire time. I was told I would have a 30 minute call ahead before my appointment. I sat for four hours and they never showed and I got no call. When I called the company the next morning, I was told he sent the repair man to the wrong address. When asked why he did not call me, I was told that technicians are not given the customers phone number. THAT IS INSANE!!!!!!!! I then had to make another appointment three days later. I called that morning to confirm my appointment. Again, I had a four hour window 9-12. The man showed up at 12:00 stayed 20 minutes, said there was a "leak" and "I fix". I paid my co-pay and went downstairs to confirm it was working. Yeah air! Three hours later it had stopped working. This was Saturday. So I had to wait till Monday to call again. My appointment was for tonight from 4-8. Again, I rearrange my entire afternoon, my kids transportation, and have to walk out of a staff meeting (with an unhappy boss) to ensure that I would be home by 4pm. I even call the office at 3:51pm and confirm with them. AND AGAIN NO CALL NO SHOW!! Please avoid them if you can!

So, here it is, 7 p.m. and the 2-6 p.m. window for the appointment is long past and the hopes raised at 4:30 in a call with the company that they were "on the way" are dashed. Will they do a great job or a crappy job? I just can't tell you yet. Because. They. Are. Not. Here. And, btw, this is probably less their fault than the home warranty company (I'm looking at you 2-10 and your rude customer service tonight at 6:40 p.m.) which probably pays a very low rate to the contractor. That would explain why the contractor jacks the warranty owner with a $95 fee for "coil cleaning" that is not covered. Gotta make the trip worthwhile, I suppose. Of course, that assumes they ever actually show up. Also, they don't have a website. What company today does not have a website? They do, however, have a phone system that plays a 1985-era "electronic" version of Für Elise. Over and over and over again. Old Ludwig should be happy he's both deaf and dead. More to come...

Do not hire this company even if your home warranty company suggests them as a vendor! They took 6 days to "get a part" now that they left the NEXT DAY our air conditioning stopped running. They tried to take apart the motor which WE PAID for and switch out the capacitor they put it in and it didn't work...well, then they had to replace the WHOLE THING!! Stop trying to be cheap and do the right thing in the first place!!

This company has been to my house three times in the past week, to repair the A/C unit. They were assigned my claim from 2-10 Home Warranty, or I would have never asked them to return. They have not arrived for a scheduled appointment twice, and on the third time they were supposed to be here between 3-6, and arrived at 8:30pm. This is after I called them at 5pm to verify that they were still coming, which I was told they were on the way. The tech was unprofessional, and when I described my problem to him, he told me that he did not believe me, and that the A/C was working fine. (Why, then, is it 77-78 degrees upstairs?) I'll sum my experience up this way.. DO NOT CALL THEM!. At this point, I wish I had requested another company from my warranty company, which I may do next week, and simply pay the additional deductible. They do not seem to have the technical expertise to diagnose or repair the A/C unit, and have very poor customer service. I wonder how they even stay in business.

I had a claim with my home warranty company that was denied because another company sent an incompetent tech. I asked for a second opinion and Air Design sent Jeremy. He knew exactly what to do and made a superior repair than what was proposed by the first tech. Highly recommended!
