I thought the food here was pretty good. Before the meal they bring out some great garlic rolls and salad. The service was also pretty efficient. There was always someone ready to refill my water.

It's almost as if Aldo's cannot decide where it fits into the restaurant hierarchy. It has white table cloths, low level lighting, quiet ambience like a higher end restaurant, but the diners are wearing shorts, jeans and t-shirts. The food is priced between an Olive Garden and a white table cloth restaurant and much better than Olive Garden. It's fresh and lighter - not franchise stock food. I've never seen a big crowd there, but the service is often slow. I'm not sure if people don't know about it or if it's because they really haven't defined themselves well so people don't seek it out.

Was driving around sight seeing in the area and the wife and I saw aldo's tucked into a shopping center so we whipped a u-turn and went in. The ambiance is nice slightly upscale. We started out with fried raviloi(SP) which was excellent. The salad was out standing. The main courses were lacking I order fetucinne alfredo with chicken and she ordered chicken parm. Both meals were lacking in any real flavor. Even the bread was tough.

This restaurant once represented a great family friendly atmosphere with great food to match. It WAS a Buckhead stlyed retaurant with moderately priced food b/n 10-30 dollars for dinner. After a sad change in ownership and management, the food became very poor, even with the same chefs- the manger decided to change the famous recipes that were once in place.. The all time favorites are now infamous and the restaurants cleanliness is non-existent. I wouldn't eat in this roach infested place if you held a gun to my head. Yes roaches- one was found in the food. Plenty in the kitchen.

I'm not sure how this restaurant may be during any other time of the year, but avoid it on Valentine's Day. My wife and I had resrvations for 8:45, and our dinner got to us right at 11:00 PM. My particular dish (a pasta wrapped salmon filet) when it arrived was burned beyond recognition. I ate it just to get out of there before February 15th!
