Took my lawntractor to this clown and got it back 2 weeks later only to break down again 1/2 hour into running it,and the repair bill was crazy with unauthorized work done and charged that had nothing to do with the problem to the tune of nearly $700 !! When I complained he was crude and nasty on the phone .Needless to say I didn't go back but instead used Aldridge and Chambers who told me much of their work was from former ASE&ES customers with stories like mine. They took longer to fix it but was fixed right the first time!
Area Virginia Beach, VA
Cost $500 - $999

I needed my lawn mower fixed quickly. Calling around town, the best anyone could do was 10 days; most were two weeks to a month. Then I called Ron and it was fixed in an hour! It runs better now than when I bought it! Ron's shop provides the best service in all of Hampton roads! Not only did he clean the carburetor, but he sharpened the blade, leveled the cutting plane, flushed out the gas tank, changed the oil, adjusted the tension in belt, and cleaned the air filter. And he's Miltary ffriendly. If you are in the military, or even if you're not, I highly recommend taking any outdoor power equipment to Ron. You can't beat the service, quality, and price! Thanks, Ron, for your service to the community.

Our ride on John Deere tractor would not work - called Ron - he came out that day and took my mower with him - returned it 5 days later - rebuilt carburetor, sharpened blades, did maintenance on it and returned it to me in brand new condition - very reliable, trustworthy and dependable - shows you how to maintain it and gives you tips on keeping your machine in good repair! will definitely use him again for any of my small engine repair needs! Highly recommended Dave and Liz Thomas, Virginia Beach, VA May 22, 2014

My relatively new & expensive self-propelled push mower died. every place i phoned said at least a month to repair and would not give prices. Ron picked it up, talked to me at length - i gave him my older generator to service too. I picked my stuff up 2 wks later - cleaner than they'd ever been and both running better than new. Price was fair and his instructions were consise and helpful so it won't happen again. Love this guy - he was straight and helpful. Highly recommend!

Saw Ron's ad on a placemat in a local restaurant and glad I did. What drew me to his add was his offer of free pick-up and delivery. I know ther shops can charge a hefty fee for that alone. Over the phone he expressed extensive knowledge of my Honda Harmony riding mower before he even laid eyes on it. He picked it up the next day and had it back in a little over a week. He took extra time to better educated me on the proper maintenance and use of my mower to help extend the life and prevent costly repairs. His rates were more than reasonable for the work and time he spent on my machine. He is truly a pearl and I will recommend his services all day long. Thanks again Ron.

After having used another group that gave me terrible service, it has been refreshing to work with Ron. He explains things and comes up with innovative ways of keeping my mower working well and longer.

Deployed husband, messed up mower, and a field of grass growing before my eyes. Ron took the pain away. He is knowledgeable, dependable, respectful, and honest. He even made sure the rider mower was loaded onto my trailer properly. When I off loaded at home, it was smooth sailing. For maintenance or repair, I will be a repeat customer.

I was at my wit's end. My older John Deere rider just stopped working and the grass was high! I had tried 3 different mower repair shops in town; all said they were backed up and it would take about 3 weeks to a month to get to my poor mower. Saw Ron listed on Angies List. He was patient and helpful - explaining what was probably wrong and what the cost would be to repair. He even explained what to do so it would not happen again. He came and got my rider that week and fixed and returned it within 8 days. Its working better than it ever did before plus its cleaner. He provided a great service and helpful advise. I will use him again and recommend him to my friends and neighbors! So glad I found him and would rather support local small businesses.

I thought that my 8 year old generator was a goner but after the years of great use, did not want to part with it. So decided to see if it could still be repaired. Mr. Ron gave me his time on the phone asking pertinent questions and together we decided the generator was worth checking. He came the next day and picked it up while I was at work then called me that same night and told me what needed to be done. He was thorough and told me the cost to purchase needed parts and his time - which was very reasonable. I got it back within the week and it is working fine - actually better than new. Mr. Ron is amazing and his work was clean, fast and economical. I will now have him look at my riding mower and other power equipment I routinely use. It is really great to find someone who can do these repairs and does not rip you off. The other reviews about him are true. He's a gem

Ron is a very honest, forthright professional who will explain in detail the actual issue(s) with your equipment and advise you on the best cost effective way to reslove your issue. He took my 15 yr old riding lawn mower and brought it back to life, better than new. Fixed issues the John Deere Dealer never was able too. Most importantly, though my kids love the mower that I was going to dump and now will run another 15 yrs thanks to Ron. No one else compares!

Ron fixed my mower and generator exactly two years ago. Price seemed high, but I didn't have to arrange to have them transported back and forth. With Irene headed this way, I asked Ron if he could possible fix the generator again. He was here within three hours, as part of another trip, fixed it on the spot, and didn't charge me "since (he) was in the area". Unbelievable. The issue was a bad oil pressure sensor, which no one else would concur was the likely problem. He just disconnected it. Other shops wanted me to bring it in - extremely difficult - and they'd try to get it fixed before the storm. Thanks, Ron.

Called Mr.Ron after 2 other local repair places said repair wait would be 2 wks minimum. He picked up my riding mower the same day & spent 45 mins checking & explaining the possible problems; fixed my 11 yr old rider in 2 days; the price was fair plus gave me excellent preventative advise so same prob would not reoccur. This guy is knowledgeable & gave me fantastic service. Highly recommend!

I had Ron troubleshoot and repair my power washer after it failed to start. I failed to ask for an estimate. Please do not do the same. The fix was cleaning the carburetor. The price quote $197.00. I priced a new one at $38.80 from Briggs and Stratton. $100.00 later i got my power washer back. His work is top notch but price can exceed work performed at least in my case.
