If you like moist, chewy, rich cookies, then look no further. Alons has THE best anywhere around. Their sandwiches are great, and other desserts are fantastic. It's expensive, but worth a trip.

Alon's is a great bakery. Everything they have is excellent. From the breads to the pastries to the sandwiches, you'll love whatever you get. Don't leave without getting a cookie.

the desserts here are to die for. I recieved my 1st dessert from them as a gift, and I live over an hour away. Now, weekly I drive there just to have a taste of what i consider heaven is. This bakery is a must try for everyone.

I have been pleased with every baked good, sandwich, side dish or cheese I have had at Alon's. They produce delicious goods from quality ingredients. Go! You'll love it.

YUMMY!!! The individual desserts were excellent, even compared to most desserts we had in Paris. We will drive 20 miles just to get a sweet fix. So worth it.

This neighborhood eatery is excellent, hence the long lines. Top quality deli case with fresh cooked fish, like pepper seared tuna and a great selection of beautifully prepared side dishes. Desserts and breads to die for. My only complaint is the service which has lost its shine lately. The owners and new chef are wonderful, but so many employees act as though they would rather be ANYWHERE ELSE but there is a damper on the foodie experience. "Ugh, I hate you," they seem to broadcast in their eyes and smileless faces.
