We used to love this place. At it's original location, everything was pretty darn good. They had great steaks, good service and prices. Then they moved and lost their liquor license. Then they sued the city over losing their liquor license and the city pulled a Palin and shut them down. I have not idea if they will ever come back, but it would be good if they did.

They mixed up our food and drink orders with others in our group, and never did get one of the orders correct (we gave up and just ate what they brought). The food was good, though! Strange dichotomy of good food and clueless service.

I have been to Alpine several times. I like the food but the service has been really bad. I too had a visit that a person's complete order was not delivered to the table. We had to ask for drink refills and extra bread. One one visit we didnt receive our salads until we asked our young waitress. The food is really good, but be prepared to have bad svc.

My Dad loves this place and always wants to go there. On one visit, we had a party of 8, and we were being "served" by a new waitress. She never refilled our drinks, never brought bread, never checked on us. And this was my Dad's birthday! I finally let one of the managers know how disappointed we were. And they did nothing to apologize. Then, for my son's graduation, my Dad takes us all here again. My Mom went to Alpine the week before and explained the poor service that we had in the past. They assured her that we would be taken care of. Again we had our party of 8, all the meals were brought out - EXCEPT FOR ONE! They mistakenly took the order and failed to write one down. So we will not be back. Again they did nothing to apologize for this yet again "mistake".

They have the best steaks, juicy, hot ,and very flavorful. I highly recommend. They have plenty of parking and are located away from all the other busy places in douglasville. I'm sure you'll love the food.

The service is always horrible: slow and never accurate on what you order. The food (when it finally gets there) is cold and has no taste. The atmosphere is dull and boring.

This place has the best deal for $5: a big burger plus a fully loaded baked potato! All for $5...that's awesome! The best part about that for me is that you almost spend that much for a value meal at a local fast food place but your burger is about a eigth of an inch thick...but here your burger is HUGE--at least an inch and cooked to perfection anyway you want it! Burger King is across the street but they don't load you up with a fully loaded baked potato...and not just any skinny spud..but a big 'ole Mr. Potato Head. The only catch is that this deal is everyday but only at certain times of the day...I think like from open until 5pm...but I might be wrong. They announce this on the BIG sign out front.
