Unprofessional and poorly ran by owner Mary. My hair fell out and matted from me putting water and conditioner on my hair after the salon colored my hair. They lied and will not take responsibility.Stay away from Lauren and Mary. Did I mention drinking alcohol at the salon?? Stay away.

I went to Brenda there on recommendation of a friend. I have very curly hair and struggle to find someone who can handle it. My greatest complaint is it always ends up too short - again I have the same result. But this time, the front is really short and the back is just somewhat short. Layers are good, but I look like I have a mullet. I will not return as the one thing I specifically asked for I did not receive. Disappointing!

My boyfriend finally got away from his ole lady and promised me a weekend at the St. Regis. First stop was Ambrosia where I knew I would come out looking amazing. Right again! Color just right, new do amazing, girl chatter made me fearless. Sadly, BF only wanted to shower and _______ so the hair effort was wasted. Gotta find someone new..... Satisfied in Sandy Springs

I have curly hair and had never found anybody that could give a good hair cut. I looked in the internet and found Ambrosia and decided to give it a try. The price for me was high but once I was done it was totally worth it. Christine cut my hair, she is adorable and very professional. I've never been happier with my hair, so much so I decided to take my daughter as well. even dough she just had a hair cut, Christine redefined her layers and just made it look hip and cool, I don't know how she did it, it was basically the same length and the same hair style but much much better, you could tell she just had a great hair cut. The salon is small and very personal. I recommended to all my friends. I have finally found someone that understands curly hair. YEAAAHH!!!!

I did locks of love with Brenda earlier this week, and she did a great job. I wanted a new look and she definitely delivered something that fit my needs. The locks of love cut was free, but I'll definitely be back as a paying customer!

I was convinced to go back for one more try, but again I was a little disappointed! Working at the next chair was Mary, who kept talking about her trip with her BF and the lousy golf and lousy @*&, if you know what I mean. I thought that it was a little uncool and unprofessional! PS...If I was "past disgruntled employee", then how do I know all about A.K.'s other g-friends? Maybe from Lauren? Maria

disgruntled past employee!
I am going to donate my hair for locks for love, and of course if I'm cutting ten inches off, I want a good hair cut. However, I'm not really in a position to pay a lot for a haircut right now. Does anyone know if Ambrosia will cut for a discounted rate for those donating hair?

Melissa,Ya know.... we offer a complimentary haircut and blowdry when you donate your hair for locks of love! Call us for an appointment when you're ready to take the plunge! 404-351-4896
I have been a male customer for roughly ten years and schedule my month around my appointment. The staff is fantastic, Christine can fix a cow-lick like a surgeon ties a stitch and the ambiance is so different from my work-a-day world that it feels like a vacation. Sure it's eye-candy for a guy, but I would not go back if that's all it was. Mary is so cool there's frost on her windows. Those that don't see it... don't get it. See ya Thursday late!

I was refered to Ambrosia by a friend of mine. Mary cut my hair,(so so) but instead of being concerned about what I wanted, all I heard about was her trip to Italy with her rich boyfriend. That's not what I went there and paid money for. FIRST and LAST time for me!!!Cory So when did I work there???I just moved here!! Looks like I'm not the only one who are disappointed!! I resent the fact that you say I am a disgruntled employee, I moved to area from North Carolina in February and am a paralegal....I have never been a hairdresser!!! Call me if you would...They have my phone # on record!

I was a patron at the same salon for 20 years and decided I needed a change. I tried several salons over a long period of time (one of them being Key lime Pie, which you can read my review on them) until I finally found Mary at Ambrosia. I have been going to Mary for about a year and a half now and couldn't be happier. She is an EXCELLENT stylist and couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Her client list is the "Who's who" in Atlanta. I get compliments all of the time on my hair. The negative comments ARE from a disgruntled employee who obviously has several screen names made just for this website. I felt compelled to write this when I heard what was being written about them. Try Ambrosia!! You won't be disappointed.

Gave it a "one more try". I did get a good cut, but Mary needs to lay off bashing her ex-boyfriend with her customers! She may be cool to you, but explicit language in public is never cool. It frosted me, so no third tries!

Very poorly run! The owner needs to keep the place clean and listen to the staff. I heard a lot of creative ideas from the stylists while I was there!
