Either total scam artists or completely incompetent!!! Not sure which, but either way, this is not where you want to take you car. I needed my brakes fixed and this place is only a mile away, so I dropped off my car (bad way to choose your car repair shop... lesson learned the hard way). The guy called me and said it would be $446. I thought that wasn't too bad so I said, "Okay, sounds good." He then called me back no more than 2 minutes later and said that he had accidentally quoted me the wrong amount, that my quote was for another car and he had just gotten confused. He told me that he had explained his mistake to the manager and he agreed to knock $50 off my real quote, which was $557, so it was only going to cost me $507 (with a tone that made me realize he thought I should be grateful for the fact that I'm now spending $60 MORE than he originally quoted). Again I said fine. So, imagine my surprise when I arrive to pay, and the credit card reader's display pops up $837.46!!! I said, "You said $507 on the phone!" He said, "No I didn't. I said $837." Then he had the nerve to ask, "Is it going to clear?" Seriously?!! No apology. No "I'm very sorry sir. Let me see if we can work something out." Just, are we going to get our money? Amazing experience. I learned my lesson. Next time I'll look the place up online first! If I had I would have seen all the other bad reviews and steered clear of this place.

I recently had a flat tire. Had my AAA service change my tire. I called this service station to see if they could fix my flat. They told me to bring it right over. I was blown away when they told me they were done, and had changed out my spare, had me sign the sign box, and said thank you. There was no charge. Can you believe it!! I will definitely tell all my friends, and be back when I have a car problem that needs repair. You don't find many places like this. Thank you. I'm sold, and will be back with the friendly service I received here. Bravo!

I took my car to get an oil change and i was informed that my car was leaking oil in two different places. The even went as far as showing me some oil on the bottom of the engine. The funny thing is I never never had one drop of oil in my driver way. I went to the extent of cleaning off the oil under the engine and it never reappeared. Just to be safe, I had Ford check it out and they did not find any leaks. They also talked my wife into a $124 oil change. They added special additives to make the engine last longer.

Stay away - took car in with check engine light - Had autozone pull codes BEFORE going - they didn't replace parts called for by the codes. Replaced other more expensive parts - inflated amount they said it'd cost. If you do make mistake and take it there - ask for your parts. Engine light came back on,on the way home. Dealership fixed. Same codes were back.

They messed up on a simple oil change! I noticed a week later that my car had been leaking oil all week. I took it back and didn't even receive an apology.

I took my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. I called at the last minute to make an appt. and the lady worked me in the same day. They were friendly, had my truck ready on time and even recommended their online coupon before I came in for service. I haven't had any other services done, but for an oil change and tires they seemed fine.

Contacted the BBB and it has't gotten me anywhere. Amer Svc Station refuses to accept any responsibility for damage that occurred to my veh while it was under their care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARE TO THIS PLACE. They will soften you with kindness, lighten your wallet and won't stand behind their work. They'll tell you that your new problem is completely unrelated to the first and it was only a coincidence that your serv eng light came on 3 days after they fixed your car the first time, that your battery just happened to go dead and that your Dynamic Stability Control light came on -- all while the car was in their possession. They will then tell you that they can't fix it and you'll end up spending $$$$ to fix your car because they didn't do the job.

I have been using them for my oil changes so when I needed something else I thought I would use them.I called to get a price to change my spark plugs. The man who answered said not including parts it would be $170 - $200. I said if I bing the plugs it will between this. He said yes. When I picked my car up on Saturday the woman said ~$280 please. I told her what the person on the phone said, but she said they were not allowed to give quotes on the phone. She asked who I talked to like I was supposed to know. I asked her to look in the book to see who wrote the schedule and she said she didn't know because a lot of people make the appointments. After I argued for 10 min. she knocked $40 off and said that was all she could do. After I handed a $30 coupon I ended up paying $219.64. At least $50(30%) more than I should have payed after the coupon. I will never go back. I would advise you do the same. The only way to make them change is by not doing business with them.

While they diagnosed my car correctly their price to repair was excessive, 2/3 higher than a local repair shop. When my wife went to pick up our van, the attendant tried to convince her that the transmission was about to fail and she needed a new one, at a tune of 3800.00, This was not true and discredited by another shop.

I question if their mechanics were really certified like they claimed. Their mechanic broke my car radiator and the store manager would not do a thing to correct the situation. They were dishonest and I found out the hard way when I had a third party mechanic check it out after the damage was done. Please save yourself the trouble and headaches. Stay away!

I've had a couple of oil changes and 4 new tires installed with no trouble. Car is always ready on time, but they don't call to notify you they are finished.
