Started going to Dr. Andrews over 8 yrs ago when I got a bloodclot while I was 6 mths pregnant. Lupus has me on anticoagulants indefinitely, and there's no better dr than Dr. Andrews. To put it in perspective. My husband got a job offer across the country, and there are hematologists in Cali. Along with not wanting to move away from family, one of my determining points in why I would not be willing to move across country, and start seeing new doctors was because I have trusted Dr. Andrews for so long, and he's never been anything but helpful, kind, and supportive through some of the tougher times I've had with my illness. A lot of doctors just look at their patients and see a file number, and medical terminology. They don't realize that the occasional GENUINE 'how are you' can really make a hopeless situation seem a little less overwhelming. I wish all my other doctors were as attentive as Dr. A. I just can't say enough good stuff about him, and his staff is unmatched as well. Some of my other doctors have had to call and talk to him, and the nurses, about issues from time to time, and my other doctors have even said they wish they could get their staff to be so pleasant and helpful.
