I was very pleased with the services I received from the doctor as well as the staff. I brought my cat in for his shots but during the exam the doctor noticed something on his neck. She told me it should be removed right away. I listened to her and scheduled him to have surgery. I am so thankful I did because it ended up being a cancerous tumor. The staff was very helpful and informative with me and answered my questions. He has not had any problems since. I love my cat and will continue going to this clinic. And so will my other animals!

Very very very disappointed in the total disregard of what I asked when I brought my dog in for an exam. I specifically told the front desk clerk I DID NOT want the anal glands cleaned out. $19.50 is way too much to pay and my groomer does it for free. This what I told the clerk and the assistant and the doctor. The doctor insisted on examining the anal glands to see if they were impacted and she cleaned them anyways without my knowledge and then charged me!!!!! I argued with her but went ahead and paid the bill of $87.00. I will not be going to this vet again. They are way overpriced for their services. $51.50 just for the exam, $19.50 for the anal glands, and $11.50 for the bordetella. I was a repeat customer and every time it has been way overpriced for what they do. I understand they are fairly a new office but I will not bring my dog there again. Communication is key with your customers and when you directly go again my wishes and then expect me to pay for something I didn't authorize you to do you should expect a negative response no matter how nice the staff is. This clinic has lost a potentially faithful customer. Beware. Nice staff and very competent doctors BUT very poor communication and unreasonably overpriced.

Before joining this patient in the exam room, we read instructions on the computer indicating that their anal sacs were to be emptied on the every visit to our clinic because they were chronically infected and caused much pain and discomfort in the past. When asked if she wanted the glands checked she said "yes". We interpreted that to mean if they were full she wanted the situation remedied. We could not imagine a loving pet owner wanting their pet to suffer the discomfort of enlarged, painful, infected anal sacs for one minute more than necessary. The large amount of purulent debris that was expressed gave immediate relief. We wondered if this patient's groomer was expressing glands regularly and effectively for free, why were they so plugged, full, and infected? After receiving a complaint at check out and again with a later phone call, we called her at home apologizing for the misunderstanding. We credited the charge back to her account and provided the antibiotics that were needed to treat the infection complementary. The antibiotics were never picked up. We respect her opinion and suppose sometimes feelings are mutual. Clients that trust our professional advice when asking for our help are the clients we seek.
i took my cat here last year for his vaccinations after moving to the area. the staff and the doctor were super-friendly. the vet was very caring and gentle with my cat. and the pricing for his vaccinations was very reasonable. however, i noticed the exam room was pretty gross. and a rather large roach came home with me in my cat carrier! i was pretty skeeved out by that. i know with animals coming in and out it's impossible to keep a place spotless, but it was by far the dirtiest place i've taken my cat. had it been a cleaner environment, i would have definitely taken him back, but i don't want to see any roaches or bring roaches home with me after a visit with a vet.

I am a first time client to this clinic and let me tell you I will DEFINATELY be going back. I took my 11 yr. old boxer in because she had stopped eating. After the initial exam and bloodwork up she was diagnosed with liver disease (which terrified me). However, a plan of treatment was dicussed and put into action and in 2 days my baby was bouncing around like nothing was wrong. Thank you, thank you Animal Care Clinic. Your doctors and staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered in a long time.

I have frequented this animal clinic for several years now am have become accustomed to being told when I could and could not see a Dr for my pets! As much as our family loves Dr Blackstone and staff there is a new doctor on staff here. Her name is Dr Beasley and she is a delight! She is very knowledgeable and my pets took to her right away. Bonus! She is there almost 6 days a week! Kudos, a good clinic just got better.

I am a new client to Animal Care Clinic and I love the grooming there. I have taken my poodle, Carmen, to other groomers and they never seem to groom her right. I took her to Animal Care Clinic after a friend recommended them and when I got there the groomer came out and discussed with me the exact hair cut I wanted. She also did not have to be sedated as she has had to be in the past. I was really happy with the grooming and will be using them in the future.

As the owner of a very spoiled and particular shihtzu, it can be hard to find a groomer whom I like as well as my dog likes. I have visited and used several groomers in the local area, (who I shall leave unnamed) that have just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Everywhere I have been, they have had to use a tranquilizer on my dog, just to bathe him and cut his hair. While looking for another grooming facility, a friend of mine told me I should check out Animal Care Clinic, because they had had really good luck with their staff and groomer. While remaining skeptical, I called them up and gave them a shot. Not only was I easily able to make an appointment, (they just fit me right in!) but when I took Sam there to drop him off, the staff was so nice, that Sam went right with them without even a backwards glance. My dog doesn't like anybody! And not only that, but when I came to pick Sam up later that evening, my bill was substancially lower than I thought it was going to be, because the groomer there did such a good job with him, they didn't even have to sedate him. That is unbelievable. And you should have seen how good he looked when I picked him up. He did so well, that we have come back 3 times since then, and his attitude towards being bathed has greatly improved. And they are not just a groomers, they are a veterinary clinic too. They did so well grooming, that I know where I will be taking Sam if he should get sick.

I bring my 9 year old bichon in for grooming and am always pleased with the groomer's work. My dog always looks and smells great when I pick her up. She even gets a neck scarf with matching bows each time. The front desk staff is very friendly and the place doesn't smell like a typical vet clinic. I also use their vet services and have met both doctors, which are wonderful. You can tell they love what they do. My dog and I love this place!
