When I took my 6 week old Chiweenie in I didn't know what to expect. We had just had a bad experience with a major pet hospital where the staff was rude and impersonal. But I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Animal Lovers. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and I could tell truly love pets. The Dr. welcomed all of my new pet owner questions and really put my mind at ease. I HIGHLY recommend this intimate, knowledgeable vet office!!!

The first review is a totally ridiculous! I have had Dr. Alexander and staff as my vet for 16 years and honestly have not one complaint. Even before I became a professional breeder, Dr. A and the staff have treated my animals like they would my children. They have ALWAYS tried their best to give me different expense options for issues with my animals. They have always given me and the animals the best possible care, even if they were giving me things for free to help me help them. I can now afford to take care of my pets to a better standard of care, but I feel they give me the best care for my money and still offer discounts when they can. I never leave reviews for anything, but I sure wanted everyone to know that their pets, some of which ARE your children, will always be in the best care possible at Animal Lovers. Ask for Lynn when you call. She is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to animal care! Karla Benjamin

Oh my gosh, I don't know where to begin. The vet may be completely different, but the staff is totally unprofessional, rude and uncaring. Animals are left unattended for days, without food and water, and are left filthy! When I pickup my pup, he reaped of pooh that he had been walking on in his cage. He was hungry, filthy and raring to go. When the attendant brought him out, she didn't even put his collar on she just told me "here take him". Their counter parts are no better. If you need to see the vet go, but to leave your pets there, say "no"!
